I don't own anything except the characters of Mia and Christina...even Garrett *sigh*
Aaaagh I am awful! So sorry for the delay peeps especially on such a climatic chapter. Hopefully this makes up for it :) Shots about to go down!
I just wanna say a big thanks to Dreamer2987, shadowcats, hoppnhorn and anon for your reviews! Especially those long ones its so cool you put that much time into a review so thanks. Now *ahem* where is my payback. I expect updates in the next 24 hours haha jokes but I love your stories and may cry if I don't get a fix soon.
Just a few warnings - A) I am headed to the big USA in a few days woop woop which is some of your domain haha so won't be able to update for 6 weeks or so, sorry.
B) This chapter is dark, probably some of the darkest stuff I have written. References to all yucky things like rape, violence and torture so I apologize if you don't like it. This story is usually very light which I enjoy but it needed to go to some places but now that it has it can move on. This will be the last time we change the POVs hope it works just felt it was best to tell the story that way. Please tell me what you think though! Talk soon xoxoxo
Billy floored the Mustang, his stomach tingling. He didn't know if it was fear or excitement. Fear that he might be too late to save Mia, that his worst fear may have come true. Or…excitement that he could deal with Josh the way he had been fantasizing about since he found out he had taken her. Thanks to his contacts on the street, he had found Josh's address. The boys had stormed in, guns blazing, only to find the place empty. It was packed up, only boxes of his shit ready to be moved. They went through each box meticulously, looking for any information. It was Joe that found it, the photo of Josh holding a hunting rifle, standing outside a wooden cabin. Billy had snatched it from his grasp, flipping it over. 'Cabin at Lake Mahona'. As he broke out of his thoughts and looked into the rear view mirror, his gaze locked with Baggy's. His face was dark, eyes hard and when he saw Billy he gave him a nod. Although the boys would never say it, not wanting to look like a pussy, Billy knew what it meant. Baggy was forgiving him for treating Mia that way, was thankful Billy was pulling out all the stops to get her back. He still couldn't believe how his father had acted when he had informed him of Mia's kidnapping.
"So run it by me one last time why you fuck ups are…what did you call it…taking the night off?" Billy shifted uncomfortably, rubbing the back of his head.
"It's the girl, Mia. We found out someone took her." He grunted. He refused to make eye contact. He hated to admit it but he was a bit scared. He had never refused to work a night for Bones, and knew the punishment would be bad. He sincerely hoped Bones wouldn't kill him, otherwise Mia had no chance. He only hoped he would be in hospital for the night from the beatings then go searching the next day.
"You know who?" Billy's head snapped up, locking eyes with Bones. Why did he care? He just stood there, his mouth turned down in a grimace, blinking behind his thick glasses.
"Yeah, a toonie from the Roses. We know where she is." He swallowed nervously. Bones seemed almost…sympathetic. Hopefully he wouldn't hurt him too much. Bones nodded a few times then looked back down at the pile of money before him. Billy made the boys empty their pockets before turning the night's profits in, thinking a generous amount would mean they would be safe from Bones' wrath. Bones let out a weary sigh and Billy jittered his foot nervously, wanting to get moving.
"You bring him here when you find her. Plenty of space to get answers and…no eyes." Billy wanted to ask him to repeat himself, confused. He was helping? Offering a torture chamber for the prick that took Mia?
"Uh…okay." For the first time in a long time, Billy looked puzzeled, turning on one foot and walking out the door. He looked back over his shoulder to see Bones resuming his gun work. He was free to go get her, to save her…if there was still time.
"Honey I'm home!" His voice rang out in a sing-song voice. I cried into the gag, squirming in the bounds that dug into my wrists and ankles, feeling the skin rub my skin raw.
"How you been princess? Looking a little worse for wear." He began to walk closer to me. I stared up into his eyes, terrified. He looked so…nice, so normal. He was a bit ruffled at the moment, dark circles under his eyes and pale skin, but still every part of the innocent college boy. It really shocked me that such a nice looking guy could be such a scary animal it chilled my blood.
"You know I wish you were looking a bit nicer, might make this a bit easier." His hands went to the zipper on his jeans and my eyes bulged, breath catching in my throat. No, please no! He grinned, walking closer, the zipper sounding as loud as thunder in my ears. I whimpered and squirmed, wishing my binds would suddenly come loose.
"Shhhhhh…" He cooed, knees coming up on the bed and slowly crawling up my body. My heart pounded in my ears. I wanted to die, wanted to be unconscious, anything so that I wouldn't have to mentally be here, in the room, with him! His hand slid up my stomach and I hissed at the touch, eyes turning to hatred and anger, willing him away with my glare. He laughed at me, his hand cupping my cheek so he could look into my eyes.
"Such a fire in you…Girly…" I froze. My nickname…He couldn't call me that…only he could call me that! With the small amount of energy I had left and a stupid thought, I raised my head and threw it forward, headbutting Josh as hard as I could. My head hit his with a hard slap and I felt white hot pain behind my hears. He cried out and reared back, clutching his head with a groan. Through the blurriness in my eyes I saw him in pain and grinned, my dry lips splitting. His gaze turned to mine, staring at me with such a hatred it made me shiver. Then it happened…
He grabbed my hair, twisting it into a fist and pulling it like a handle. I screamed in pain, eyes squeezing shut.
"You think your smart don't you! Your not…you're a weak little whore!" He pulled, hard, smacking the side of my head into the sharp edges of the side table. And then, I didn't see anything. I didn't feel anything, didn't hear anything, I was out of it. Off with the fairys. And my first thought was good, I won't be around for what was going to happen next.
Billy lifted his knee and booted the door as hard as he could. It crashed open with a loud sound, hitting the wall and rebounding back to him. He stuck out a hand, holding it open as he stared the scene before him. His girl, his Mia, bound to the bed. Her arms and legs roped tightly to the posts in a spread-eagle position, vulnerable and unshielded. Her face was directed his way but her eyes were closed, her face slack. Blood drenched the side of her head, spilling down her face onto the pillow. He took in the bruises under her eye and around her neck, the swollen ribs and bloodied nose. But the most sickening image, the one that made his fists shake and stomach roll…was Josh kneeling between her legs, his eyes wide with shock as he was caught with fingers jammed inside her.
"What the fuck!" Josh cried out, slipping his hand back and wiping it on his jeans. Billy took in the blood on his fingers, and the stillness of his girl, and froze. For the first time in his life he couldn't move. He wanted to kill him, skin him alive, rip open his spleen…but no matter what he prepared himself for seeing her like this held him still like a statue. He barely registered Joe bursting in beside him, taking in his surroundings before raising his pistol and firing.
The shot hit Josh in his knee, his good knee! A bloody good shot really! Josh crumpled and fell off the bed, screaming.
"Are you fucking kidding me!" He spat, salivia hitting his face as he heaved and drooled. The boys pushed past Billy's solid frame as he stepped into the room, still unable to do anything. Heco and Tommy each grabbed an arm and pulled him to the door. The blood stained the hardwood floors as it drenched his leg. Bodie was suddenly there, kicking him in the knee and grounding his boot into his crotch.
"Ya in for a world of hurt dog, ya just don't know it yet."
"Please, I'm sorry, I didn't…" Josh sobbed, tears running down his cheeks. It was when Billy heard his cries, his pleas for forgiveness that he snapped awake. He strode over to the kid, flipping open his knife and grabbing him by the collar.
"Ya know what kid, I'm sick of your voice." He thrust the blade into his mouth, slicing hard until he felt the thick pink muscle give way. Josh screamed and squirmed as his tongue was cut out of his mouth, gagging on the blood. Billy ripped his crimson soaked hands away, panting as he watched the kids tongue flop onto the floor.
"Get him outta here, but whatever you do don't let him die. I aint done with him yet." He growled harshly. Josh was in shock, spluttering on his own blood, shaking and spasming as the boys dragged him out to Spink's van. He heard the engine start and dragged his eyes over to Mia on the bed. She was broken, she was bleeding…but she was breathing. He could see the rise and fall of her chest, however small it may be.
"Girly…" His voice broke and he moved towards her, so slowly. He was scared she would break if he touched her. His fingers touched the mattress, the soft plush material almost a shock given the harsh sight before him. She moaned, her breathing shallow as he drew his fingers closer. When they touched her cool cheeky she jolted, eyes flickering open, swirling around in a daze.
"No…don't…" she whispered, fighting to keep them open. His stomach wrenched at her fear and he leant down until his face was inches from hers.
"Baby…it's Billy." He whispered. His voice was so…gentle. He couldn't remember every sounding like this before. In any other time he would want to kick his own ass. Her eyes ghosted around the room until they settled on him.
"B…B…" she stuttered, her mouth opening and closing in gasps.
"Yeah…" he brushed her hair out of her face, his fingers accidentally touching the blood, staining his skin. He looked at it on his hands. It seemed so surreal. He had seen his share of blood before, spilt a tonne of it, but to have Mia's – this innocent little girl he had brought into his world, it made him sick. His eyes flicked back as hers rolled in her head and her face went slack.
"Girly! Girly HEY!" He shook her arms as she lay, unresponsive, her head lolling to the side. Her head injury worried him and he didn't want to wait around to see what the consequences were. He pulled out the knife he had used on Josh and snapped the ropes holding her wrists and ankles. His hands slid under her cool body, ignoring how frail she felt and the protruding swelling under her bra signalling one or more broken ribs.
"It's alright Mia…I got ya now…Billy's got ya now." He soothed even though she couldn't hear as he walked out the door.
Fuck! That's the first thing I thought of. I had to be dead, no living person should feel this pain! I felt a spluttering in my throat and suddenly I was coughing, my eyes watering and stomach wrenching. I wiped the tears from my cheeks, my hands resting on something soft and spongy at my temple. What the…My eyes flew open even though the lashes stuck together as I felt along my forehead. A smooth bandaged wrapped around about four times. I frowned, confused and looked down my body. I was in a what felt like an over-sized white shirt, what I later realized to be a gown tied at my back. A blanket covered my legs but I threw it off to find a bandage on my side. Inquisitive I poked at it.
"Oww! Motherf…" I cursed at the pain that flared through me. My lips cracked when I hissed and I was starting to feel the extent of my injuries; sore eye socket, swollen lips…wait – injuries! Finally I looked around me to see where I was. All I saw was white- walls, bed, furniture, everything. Hospital, had to be. My mind raced then. For a second I thought I was back home in Australia – did something happen? The plane crashed? Was I in a coma and all of Boston was a dream? But then my eyes caught my wrist band next to the IV in my arm.
Mia Douglas – Boston General
Ah. So it was real then. School, Baggy, The Roses, Chris, The boys…and Billy. I was nearly glad then, glad it wasn't just a dream. My mind worked faster as I recalled how I got here. Josh – kidnapping me, hurting me, how far had he gone? I knew I blacked out but didn't remember what led me to here. Did Josh get arrested? Did he leave me in the room, bloody and violated? I shifted my weight, feeling my lower region, whimpering when I felt the pain. I had to learn how to breathe again, welling up when I thought of what could have happened. Please don't let me be that girl, I thought to myself, the IV pulling when I covered my face.
"You're awake." I jumped and looked up, eyes locking into a pair of blue orbs.
"Yeah…" I whispered in reply, feeling the burn of tears in my eyes. We looked at one another for a second, before…
"Oh Mia!" Next thing I knew I was flattened to the bed.
"Whoa, Chris, I'm kinda broken here…" I wheezed as she jumped on me, squeezing tightly. She pulled back and I saw tears in her eyes.
"Do you have any idea how worried I've been? I thought you were dead, and all I could think was I couldn't even call your parents cause I don't have their number!"
"It's all good, I'm alive. Just in a shitload of pain." I grimaced as my body protested when I moved. She moved off me and sat in the chair beside the bed, looking pale and worried. I realized I was so glad to see her again. I honestly thought Josh would kill me, and I was so scared I would never see anyone again, one tall bald man in particular.
"How long have I been out?" I gasped, my voice croaky.
"Three days, the doctors thought it was a coma but there were signs of brain activity." I nodded, taking it all in.
"And…and Josh?" Chris was silent for a bit, biting her lip then responded.
"I haven't heard much except that…Billy's dealing with him," I didn't miss her falter over his name, "I've been forbidden to know anymore, except that you're safe from him."
"What about the cops? Aren't they asking questions?"
"Baggy said they've been able to put them off until you wake up." I frowned at her. That's all well and good but what am I supposed to tell them. Don't worry officer, my psychotic boyfriend/casual lover is taking the law into his own hands. But I couldn't deny the good feeling that Josh was being punished, not simply arrested. I had never hated anyone so much and suddenly wished I was the one to kill him, to torture him.
"I have no idea what to tell them." I whispered, looking away.
"I do." My head snapped up and I gasped. There he stood, my savior, my heart breaker, my gang leader. Billy Darley stood in the doorway, arms over his chest and a dark look on his face. I gulped. There was two ways this would end. A happy reunion or…something less than fairytale like!
