The REAL Story of the Headless Horseman

See I wasn't bad. I just died a sad and painful death. I was murdered. My brother was at college studying chemistry. Soon news got out that he created life. Then one day I was riding through the woods and I saw a man… no not a man a creature. As the creature came closer I realized that it was a monster. The monster was looking for my brother but I didn't know where he was. The monster choked my horse and me to death. So I died.

When I died I went to where all people go, The Underworld. I saw a ghostly man named Charon. He let me go to the Underworld for $100 (which is pretty steep if you ask me) to go see Hades.

The ride to the Underworld was pretty long. I saw the River of Styx, looking more polluted than any river I've ever seen. Then I saw a huge black Rottweiler, twice the size of a wooly mammoth, and it had three heads. Charon explained that this was the hound of Hades named Cerberus who guards the entrance to the Underworld and prevents the dead from leaving.

As I passed through the EZ Death doors I had to go through the Fields of Asphodel to get to the Palace of Hades for judgment. Hades would put me either in the Fields of Punishment, the Elysium, or the worst of all he could send me to Tarturus.

As I walked down the long dark hallway I saw skeletons dressed in war gear. There was at least one skeleton for each war. World War I, World War II, the Revolutionary War. You name the war and there was a skeleton there representing it. The scary thing about the skeletons was that there were moving.

I finally ended up in front of two big doors which lead into Hades' throne. It was a ginormous room with two big chairs and a floor of bones. In walked Hades and his beautiful wife Persephone. She had long, gorgeous, shiny black hair and blazing emerald eyes. I could tell by the look on her face that she was unhappy with Hades as her husband. When our eyes met we instantly fell in love.

I think that Hades noticed that I was in love. He just couldn't tell that I was in love with his wife. He asked me many questions like if I had a girlfriend, or if I was married, or if I died leaving my girlfriend or wife alone. After a while Hades gave up and said that he was going to leave me alone to talk to Persephone to see where she wanted to place me.

When Hades left the room Persephone was over joyed. She told me that she loved me and I told her that I loved her too. Then I did the most romantic thing that I could think of. I gave her a dead rose, sang "Just the Way You Are" by Bruno Mars and I asked her to marry me. She said, "Yes."

Half a second after Persephone said yes Hades came in and yelled at the top of his lungs "HOW DARE YOU STEAL MY WIFE!" Persephone and I were scared to death. Hades was so mad that he started an earthquake. He decided to punish me. He chopped my head and gave me a horse. He ordered me to go to the woods in Sleepy Hollow and I was never to return to the Underworld. He also punished his beautiful wife. She was not allowed to go to the world of the living this year and she was never to see me again.

I went to Sleepy Hollow and I was fine for the first year. Then one night there was a man on a horse like mine. He was also dressed exactly like me he decided to scared off another man who ended up dying because the man threw a pineapple at his head. Yea I said a pineapple. Everyone said that it was me and not the man who dressed up. I was framed.

That is the story of how I became known as the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow who haunted anyone who dared come in the woods.
