Disclaimer: Right here we go again. I own nothing, but I do own David Tennant! Yeah right, if only I did, but a girl can dream can't she? *Goes into day dream mode*
A/N this is a story I came up with a wee while ago (I'm not Scottish by the way, but I love the way they speak! *cough* David Tennant *cough*) Anyway, like I said I came up with this ages ago and have been meaning to type it up, but never got round to doing so. So here we are it's finally up! Hope you enjoy!
Golden Flash of Emotion
I starred in horror as I watched the Doctor explode in front of me, (I hope not literally, although it's hard to tell with him). The TARDIS had been lit up by the light that was going from the Doctor as he continued to glow.
I could see that the Doctor was getting slightly taller, his hair seemed to grow longer and he seemed to be slightly thinner, (If that was possible). The light finally faded and stood there was 'the Doctor'. He looked at him and I continued to stare at him, my mouth open in horror and surprise.
"Hello," he said. "Ooh," he ran his tongue over his teeth, "New teeth, that's weird." 'The Doctor' composed himself and got back on topic. "Anyway, where was I? Oh that's right; Barcelona." He grinned at me. I didn't smile back.
She's scared I can tell. I really should've told her about my regeneration ability. Although maybe if I explain now she might feel less frightened. I hope anyway.
She's walking towards me slowly. Her expression confused with a hint of fear.
"Who are you?" She asks me nervously.
"It's me, the Doctor." I reply.
"No you can't be."
"But he exploded and you replaced him with some sort of teleport." She still doesn't believe me and to be honest I don't blame her.
"Rose, listen. It's really me. I promise." I bend down slightly and look her in the eye.
"How...? You can't be." Rose is struggling to understand.
"The how can I remember this. The very first word I ever said to you, trapped down in that cellar." I gently took hold of her hand. "I took your hand and said one word, just one word. Run." Rose looked at me and she looked less frightened, so I took it as a good sign.
"Doctor?" She said.
"Hello." I smiled at her. For the first time she smiled back at me. Not fully but it was better than nothing.
"It's really you?" Rose asked me.
"Yes, Rose it's really me."
Rose walked up me and I brought her into a tight hug. She hugged me back, not wanting to let go. I knew then that things were going to be all right.
Maybe one day, I'll finally build up the courage and tell her I love her. And know knows she may love me back.
A/N I hoped you liked that. I'm sorry it was really short, but I had to get it up. Please let me know what you think. I'd love to know. =)
