"You're still you?"
"I'm still me."
Rose found herself in his arms as the words left his lips, bringing him as close as she could manage, but it wasn't nearly close enough to satisfy. She'd been away so long that it was almost unbelievable she was there. In that moment, Rose never wanted to let go.
"I missed you," she murmured into his shoulder.
Although she couldn't see it, Rose could feel the Doctor's smile as he responded, "I missed you, too. So much."
The Doctor pulled Rose in front of him, staring deep into her brown eyes. He was about to try and say something spectacular to her but quickly abandoned that plan in favor of kissing her, saying everything from the moment his lips met hers.
Much to the Doctor's disappointment, Rose pulled away and breathlessly reminded him that Donna and Jack were still in the room.
"Oh. Well to be perfectly honest with you, Miss Tyler, I don't much care."
With that he flashed her a daring smile and claimed her lips in a kiss again.
The both of them were too lost in each other to notice the bickering whispers on the other side of the console.
"Oi! If you're not gonna hug me, you could at least turn around and give them some privacy!"
Jack laughed and said, "Fine, I'll turn around, but after that kiss, Donna, I cannot tell you what I'm thinking right now."
