I don't own Superman, Wonder Woman, J'onn and of course Lois (eww)DC comics does. The song is from Phil Coll from the movie Against All Odds, he of course owns the song… All I own is my imagination. :D and I just borrowed them for a bit to play with they are still intact.

Superman was looking out the observation window in the Watch Tower; he was in shock his best friend Diana had left the Justice League. No one knew where she had went, not even J'onn, he had pushed his best friend away cause of Lois. In order to save his marriage with Lois, he had told Diana they needed to stop being friends. It was a painful decision but he loved Lois and he was afraid to lose her but now with Diana gone…. The pain of losing her was more than he expected it… He wanted to go find her and tell her that he missed her and then it hit him… he loved her. He loved her more than Lois…than life itself… a tear slowly came to his eye as he thought of the memories they shared together..

How can I just let you walk away,
just let you leave without a trace
When I stand here taking every breath with you, ooh
You're the only one who really knew me at all

How can you just walk away from me,
when all I can do is watch you leave
Cos we've shared the laughter and the pain,
and even shared the tears
You're the only one who really knew me at all

Diana held him in her arms as he cried about the helplessness he felt when Max Lord had mind controlled him and then afterwards how he and Bruce rejected her even knowing what she did saved their lives.

"Diana, please forgive me…"

"Shhh, Kal there is nothing to forgive…."

So take a look at me now,
'cos there's just an empty space
And there's nothing left here to remind me,
just the memory of your face
Take a look at me now,
'cos there's just an empty space
And you coming back to me
is against all odds and that's what I've got to face

I wish I could just make you turn around,
turn around and see me cry
There's so much I need to say to you,
so many reasons why
You're the only one who really knew me at all

"Diana for the sake of my marriage with Lois I think…. I think its best that we don't come near each other unless it's a Justice League matter… I… I hope you understand."

Diana blue eyes filled with pain but she understood, "If that's what you think is best Superman, I will no longer bother you." She walked out of the room… unknown to him that would be last he would see of her.

So take a look at me now,
'cos there's just an empty space
And there's nothing left here to remind me,
just the memory of your face
Take a look at me now,
'cos there's just an empty space
But to wait for you,
well that's all I can do and that's what I've got to face
Take a good look at me now,
'cos I'll still be standing here
And you coming back to me is against all odds
That's the chance I've got to take, oh, oho

Just take a look at me now

Superman had made a decision he would find her and try to convince her to come back to the League and most of all to him… but first he had to end it with Lois..
