I felt depressed when writing this so it's probably ultra angsty.

By the way, Hinata is probably ooc.

Also, this is a One Shot. I have no intention of continuing this.

I heard a knock on my bedroom door looked to see my sister standing there.

"Are you ready?"

Naruto grinned holding my hand.

"Are you ready?"

I nodded.

The sky was dark with clouds threatening to rain. All of the shops were closed and the streets were empty. My sister and I approached the mass of people in black matching the color we were wearing. The color of mourning. When the crowd saw me they parted allowing me to go to the front of the crowd. I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked at Kiba's sympathetic expression. I saw Tsunade standing in front of a podium. I could see the tear tracks from here. I didn't see Kakashi, but I knew he was near. I looked at the casket in front of me and remembered.

"Will you marry me?"

"I'm finally Hokage!"

"You're pregnant? That's great! I hope I'll be a good father."

"I have to do this. Please understand."

"I guess I used too much of the foxes chakra. He can't heal me."

"Hisao. Name our son Hisao."

"I'm sorry I can't be there."

"I love you Hinata."

The tears fell as Tsunade spoke. I was sure it was beautiful speech. Everything just seemed so muted. Why did he have to go after that damn traitor? Why did he have to leave me? Time passed and soon I was the only one standing there. What did I have left to live for? I felt a kick in my stomach and for the first time since I heard those words spoken I smiled. There's still a part of him in this world. Hisao will know how great his father was.

"Naruto will live on in you."

My voice was barely a whisper. I felt the breeze as the rain started to fall.

"Are you crying Naruto? That's not like you to cry."

I held my stomach as I felt another kick.

"I love you too Naruto."

Super short and depressing. *sigh*
