Yay update! Sorry I took a while, I kept changing ideas and I had to re-write it several times. I still feel iffy about it but if I change it again I will never stop. So here it is… Feel free to leave me a review. I always could use the feedback. Previous declaimer still applies and all mistakes are mine.

"Christina you need to get out of bed this is becoming border line unhealthy." She didn't respond, she simply turned her back to Tom and pulled the covers over her head. Tom sighed frustrated at her lack of response; he just wanted everything to go back to normal. "You need to get over this." Rage instantly coiled in to Christina's belly and she sat up.
"Get over what Tom, the fact that I lost a child. My fucking child."
"Don't you mean our child? You aren't the only one who lost a child Christina."
"You don't act like it. I'm sorry. I'm not like you walking around like nothing's wrong; like I'm fucking happy. I'm sad Tom, I'm destroyed. I lost my child."
"Our child" he repeated more solemnly before Christina went on.
"I gave birth to her and then we buried her. You have absolutely no idea how the hell I feel." It had finally began to dawn on him how painful losing their baby was to Christina and even though he was still coping in his own way. She had taken the brunt of their baby's death to heart. "I'm sorry" Tom said quietly and all conversation seized.
Silence had consumed the room and the air began to suffocate Christina. She needed to get out of there. She quickly pushed the covers off and began putting on clothes.
"What are you doing?"
"I'm getting out of bed Tom. Isn't that what you wanted?"
"Where are you going?" Tom questioned, but seconds later he was met by silence as he watched her leave the bedroom fully clothed. He followed behind her and quickly blocked her exit to the front door. He crossed his arms and looked down at her.
"Where are you going?"
"Somewhere that isn't here."
"Move Tom, now."
Tom stood his ground as they engaged in an intense stare off but a minute later he moved aside, and she slammed the door shut, and got in the car. She didn't know where she was going but she couldn't be around him right now. As she drove away, Tom rubbed his hand over his face and collapsed into the couch. He had never felt more helpless.
