Because I am stuck with DS, enjoy this one shot... -sigh- Love, Katie.

No I don't own Jimmy.

The evening sky was blood red. Cindy was studying the plan he had laid out. Neutron had made the fact that there was no escape clear. But she was determined that if there was any way out at all she'd find it.

"I think if we distract them long enough Jimmy can rig the explosives. Then all we have to do is lure them in and then BOOM! We're home free." She wiped the sweat from her face.

Jimmy just blinked at her like she'd grown two heads. She was about to scold him when Libby cleared her throat nervously.

"Girl, are you sure this is going to work?"

"It should. If not then we'll have tried."

Libby nodded.

"Just what do you think are you doing, Cindy?" Jimmy finally spoke. His face was pale and he looked like he might possibly throw up.

"I'm getting us out of here," she replied as she made a last note on her hand.

"You shouldn't be doing this," Jimmy argued.

"I've been locked up for three months. I want to make these jerks pay for what they did."

"I don't know."

"Neutron, you promised!'

"I lied."

She frowned at her friend. "Why are you so freaked out, Neutron? What do you know that we don't?"

"This will be really dangerous."

He sighed and ran his hands through his hair. "Please don't make me beg."

"I could handle myself all those times before, I can handle myself now."

"What about everyone else?"

"We know what we are up against. We aren't scared. You aren't going to fight them off by yourself if that's what you were thinking."

"It's me they want."

"You can't fight off a hostile alien race all by yourself! We're all ready outnumbered; you wouldn't stand a chance alone."

He sighed in defeat. "Just be careful, okay?"

"Only if you are," she retorted.

He stuck out his hand and they shook on it.

"What was that about?" Libby asked.

Cindy shrugged. "No idea," she responded.

Just then there was a tap on her shoulder. Jimmy was looking determinedly at her. Before she knew what was happening he was kissing her. In front of everyone he was actually, really, deeply kissing her.

Carl dropped his inhaler, Libby gasped and Goddard barked happily. After a few seconds, Sheen started to catcall and whoop.

But, Cindy didn't really mind. She was too happily lost in the swirling colors in her brain. When he pulled away she stood there with her mouth hanging agape.

"You are clueless, Vortex," he added.

She was torn between the urge to punch him or to kiss him back. He made up her mind for her as he quickly went over to check the monitor.

"Whoa!" Carl whispered his eyes widening.

"You got that right!" Sheen answered.

Cindy smiled lovingly at the boy genius whose face was now a deep red.

"Wow," she whispered.

"Now that's closure," Libby added with a knowing smile.

"Good luck," he whispered and Cindy nodded.

"Let's do this."
