A tall slim man with a long white lab coat adjusted his black tie as he casually entered the museum after hours. He scanned the area with his eyes that were hidden behind goggles and lifted a white gloved hang, motioning with two fingers and pointing forward. A couple dozen henchmen dressed in all black with various animal mask closed in.

"Alright listen my pets and listen real good," the man in the lab coat commanded. "Help yourself to anything you like. In the meantime I'm going down yonder to get the special prize. If any hooligans come my way you know what to do."

He turned and continued forward.

One henchman with a tiger mask raised his hand. "Zookeeper, uh, boss sir, what is you want us to do again if we run into any security?"

The henchman standing next to him who wore a mouse mask put a hand to his forehead and shook his head, muttering "idiot".

Zookeeper tipped his hunter's hat at the henchman and grinned madly. "Eradicate them."

Zookeeper walked off then, leaving his henchmen to be as free as kids in a candy shop. They eagerly scattered around the museum and filled their sacks with various goodies of jewels and priceless pieces of art. One henchman who wore a bunny mask took a mirror rimmed with gold and diamonds off it's stand. He stared at it and grinned.

His grin fell though when he spotted a flash of green, red, yellow and black in the mirror. He turned his head, looking over his shoulder and saw nothing. Believing himself to have just been imagining things he turned back to gaze in the mirror, only when he turned back the mirror wasn't the only thing he saw.

Standing there with a smug look was Robin.

The henchman dropped the mirror and turned on his heel, sprinting away. Robin leaped in the air and landed in front of him. He then performed a roundhouse kick and successfully left the thief unconscious.

The other henchmen were now aware that the Titans were here and attempted to either run or fight. Raven and Starfire bumped backs as a group of the henchmen that were willing to fight closed in around them in a circle. The girls held hands and lifted off the ground as they spun in a circle, then with their free hands they released their black and green engery. When they landed the henchmen were scattered around on their backs, defeated.

The henchman with the tiger mask saw this and cowered in fear. He attempted to sneak away and crawled on the ground. He stopped when he saw green paws in his path. Looking up he saw a green tiger. There was a pause, then the tiger roared.

A girlish shriek escaped the henchman's mouth and he turned to run, his arms flailing about him. The henchman then crashed into Cyborg's chest and fell to the floor. Beast Boy turned back into his human form and shared a smile with Cyborg.

The moment ended soon when Cyborg was jumped from behind. Cyborg plucked the henchman off his back and tossed him to the side. He then readied his cyber-cannon and aimed it at the swarm of henchmen running towards him.

Not far off was Robin with a bo-staff in hand. "Beast Boy, go ahead and find the Zookeeper. We'll be right behind you as soon as we can."

Beast Boy saluted. "Ay ay, captain!"

The green teen then transformed into a dog. Picking up the Zookeeper's scent he ran forward.

Zookeeper had been in a different part of the museum, one that showcased the skeletons and skins of animals. Beast Boy found him hovering over the new center piece brought into the museum a few days ago. It was a large bone and Zookeeper had just finished withdrawing a sample from it into a needle filled with purple liquid. Beast Boy, who was stilll in dog form, licked his lips at the massive bone, an air bubble seemingly appearing over his head with the image of a green puppy chewing on the bone with floating hearts just above its floopy ears. Yummy.

"Magnificent, isn't it? This little wonder is believed to be the bone of a dragon," Zookeeper explained as if him and Beast Boy were old chums.

Beast Boy turned into a human. "Look dude, I don't know what it is that you're doing, but I bet it's illegal seeing as how you and your henchies broke in here, so you better stop now!"

"What I'm doing is collecting DNA of mythical creatures. A dragon, a pegasus, a unicorn, and a griffen. All collected into this serum along with a few scientific spices," Zookeeper tapped the needle and grinned. "It still needs some tweaking but once I'm done with this I'll be able to make myself a super creature that will help me conquer the world!"

Zookeeper bursted into laughter and Beast Boy narrowed his eyes. He immediately turned into a gorilla and lunged for the villain, crashing into him and sending the needle flying. Beast Boy pinned the villain to the ground and roared at him, completely unaware that the needle which had flown into the air was now descending. Like a dart seeking out balloons as some carnival game the needle landed perfectly in Beast Boy's bottom. Stab. Beast Boy turned into a human, biting his lower lip with teary wide eyes. That hurt.

Zookeeper saw his opportunity and kicked Beast Boy off of him. The resulting crash to the floor pushed down on the needle, injecting the serum into the green Titan.

"Beast Boy!" called out Starfire.

"Yo, BB, where you at?" shouted Cyborg.

Zookeeper growled and took off, disappearing into the darkened museum. Meanwhile Beast Boy had stood up from the floor and plucked the needle from his rump, letting a small "ow" escaped his lips. He dropped it to the floor distastefully just as Robin, Raven, Starfire and Cyborg appeared.

"Where's Zookeeper?" Robin asked.

"He got away," Beast Boy informed grimly, rubbing is buttocks.

He was in the desert. How? He did not know. The only thing he did know was that it was hot and he was thirsty, so Beast Boy began to wander the sandy terrene. He pulled at the collar to his uniform and sighed, his eyes closed.

"Why can't there be a soda machine somewhere in this desert."

He opened his eyes and jumped back in fright. Before him was a green animal with the body and hind legs of a lion, and the head, wings, and front legs of an eagel.

Beast Boy's eyes widened and he trembled. "Wh-What are you?"

The animal screeched at him and flew off, the gust of wind that followed from its flight knocking Beast Boy down. He closed his eyes so as to not get any sand in them and when he opened them another animal had appeared, this time with the green body of a horse and a long horn on its head.

Beast Boy jumped up, stars in his eyes as he pointed a finger. He chuckled. "No way! Dude, I know what you are. You're a unicorn! Sweet!"

The unicorn looked at him with a glint shined in its eye. It stomped its hoof aggressively.

The color drained from Beast Boy's face and he shrieked in a girlish fashion as he took off in the opposite direction of the unicorn, the animal chasing him. He was running so frantically that he wasn't watching where he was going and he tripped over something. His face planted in the sane and he slowly peeled himself up. Once he was standing up he coughed up sand.

"Bleh," Beast Boy said as he wiped his tongue. That tasted gross. He scanned the area, hoping to find something other than sand. Something pushed gently against his back. "Quit it."

The force pushed against him again, more urgent this time. Beast Boy pushed it away. "Shoo, I'm trying to find a soda machine."

Whatever stood behind him started to chew on his hair. He jumped and spun around, ready to fight, but his raised fist slumped back down to his sides when he got a good look at what was infront of him. It was a green pegasus with its wings opened wide. Stars came to Beast Boy's eyes.

The pegasus turned around and ran before it flapped its wings and took off into the sky.

"Hey, wait!" Beast Boy yelled, his arm extended. He sighed, realizing it was pointless to try and communicated with the animal. Darnit, he was wondering if it could have led him to that soda machine he was looking for...

He was just about to settle in and relax (he wanted a rest, looking for soda machines in deserts were hard work) when he felt the ground rumble. The sand infront of him began to rise and eventually a green dragon emerged from it, shooting straight into the sky and roaring. Its eyes looked around, its attention traveling over the sand and landing on Beast Boy. It roared again and blew fire straight at Beast Boy who screamed as the fire engulfed him.

"Yo, BB, wake up!" Cyborg yelled as he shook the changeling out from his slumber.

Beast Boy flapped his arms about and fell from the sofa, his comic book landing on his head.

Cyborg peered at him curiously. "You okay? You were yelling in your sleep."

Beast Boy lifted himself up. "Yeah, I'm okay. Just a nightmare."

Cyborg shook his head and walked away. "I told you that tofu junk was no good. It's been stinkin' up the fridge for days."

Beast Boy scratched his head distractedly. "Uh huh," he bolted for the door of the common room. "I'll go buy some more."

Cyborg raised a brow at the fleeing Titan. Weird.

Raven levitated in the middle of her room, chanting. She could feel her engergy flowing... She could feel her body relaxing... Peace. Quiet. Tranquality.

Tap. Tap. Tap.

Raven's eyebrow twitched in annoyance at the tapping from her door. She sighed. "Just ignore it."

Tap. Tap. Tap.

A vein in her forehead throbbed in frustration.

Tap. Tap. Tap.

Clearly whoever was behind that door had no intentions of going away so, reluctantly, Raven went to go answer her door.

She narrowed her eyes when she saw who was on the other side. "Why am I not surprised."

Beast Boy smiled sheepishly at her as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Mind if I come in?"

"Yes," she said as she closed the door. Apparently not fast enough because Beast Boy quickly turned into a snake and slittered in. He transformed back to himself once he was in the middle of her room. She frowned. "What do you want now, Beast Boy?"

"Uh... well... I was wondering if you could do something to help me go to sleep."

She crossed her arms, a smirk on her face. "Scared of the dark?"

She walked over to him. "Good, because I don't have any nightlights to offer you."

He blushed in embarrassment. "I don't need a nightlight! It's not the dark that's stopping me from sleeping."

She went back to leviatating in her regular position, completely uninterested. "Then count sheep. Or better yet, become one. Now leave. I need to meditate."

"Raven, please! I seriously need your help. I keep having the same nightmare... Do you think you can do some magic spell thingy to make it go away?"

She turned to him. If it would make him leave her room... "Possibly. Come sit."

He did as he was told and sat Indian style infront of her. Raven lowered herself to the ground and put her hands on his temples. "I want you to concentrate on this dream you've been having."

He breathed in and out, his eyes closing.

Raven's eyes glowed. "Azarath, Metrion, Zinthos!"

Various images flowed through her mind at once. Feathers. Wings. A tail. A beak. A horn. Scales. Claws. Sharp teeth. Fire. Fire!

She jerked away from him, her eyes wide in a mixture of bewilderment and fright. Beast Boy looked back at her in confusion. There was a pause, and then the Titan alarn went off, engulfing the room in a beeping red light. The door slide open, revealing Robin. They turned their eyes towards him as he spoke.

"It's Zookeeper."

The citizens of Jump City screamed and ran as rays of green energy were shot at them. Those who were hit faced the effects of the ray. Their bodies changed into almost a werewolf like appearance. Their noses became long snouts, their jaws filled with sharp teeth and dripping saliva. Claws replaced finger nails and thick hair covered their entire body. Tails and ears completed the transformation along with the tattered remains of their cloths. Those who were transformed were under Zookeeper's control and scurried the streets, snarling at unchanged citizens and tearing open the hoods of cars.

"Play my pets, play!" Zookeeper encouraged his mutts. "This is our animal kingdom!"

His laughter echoed the streets and reached the ears of the Titans.

"Okay, Titans, our first mission is crowd control. Remember these are civilians. We don't want to hurt them," Robin readied his bo-staff, his eyes narrowed. "Titans go!"

The five of them sprung into action. Beast Boy and Cyborg took the left while Raven and Starfire took the right. Robin pushed forward in the center, knocking Zookeeper's mutts over with his bo-staff. He was making his path towards Zookeeper.

As Robin knocked his opponents down with ease Beast Boy found he was having a lot more trouble. He found himself being swarmed by the bulk of the mutts and unable to find an exit of the tight circle they had formed around him. A ground attack was not working in his favor so Beast Boy decided he would take to the sky. He transformed into a hawk and took flight, going for the opening he saw. As he reached above the mutts heads a clawed hand took hold of his feathered tail and brought him back down, slamming him into the ground. He transformed into a human and rolled over on his side, clutching his head.

A groan escaped his lips. "... That hurt."

One of the mutts growled at him, causing him to jolt into a sitting position.

His eyes widened in fright. "My... what big teeth you all have..."

The mutts lunged at him, snapping at his feet and hands. One successfully bit his ankle, causing Beast Boy to wail "Dude, I am NOT a chewtoy!". Another pounced on him, digging its claws into his shoulders as saliva dripped from its jaws and onto Beast Boy's cheek. Beast Boy's eyes narrowed and he gritted his teeth. If he couldn't get out of this he was going to end up as dog food. But what could he do? These mutts seemed to only be interested in trapping him. He felt like a caged bird.

A bird...

He grinned.

Starfire zapped a mutt that lunged at her with her eyebeams. She hovered off the ground, her back pressed against Raven's as they did their best to subdue the creatures. Something green caught her eye and she looked up.

"Um... Raven."

"Yes, Starfire?" Raven asked as a mutt slammed face first into one of her shields, knocking itself unconscious.

The princess pointed. "What is that?"

Raven turned her head and her eyes widened. "... Beast Boy?"

In the sky was a green griffin. It swooped down and plucked one of the mutts off the ground. Then, with its beak, it grabbed on to the mutt's tattered shirt and swung it side to side before dropping it to the ground where it landed on the hood of a car, caving it in and shattering the windows. It then screeched and flew forward to where Robin was facing Zookeeper.

Somewhere along Robin's fight with Zookeeper, his opponent had gained the upperhand and knocked him to his back. Zookeeper put a foot on Robin's chest, holding him in place, and pointed a ray gun that was very large and had a green glowing power source at his head.

"You'll be my prized pet, Robin," Zookeeper said, grinning madly. "An excellent hunt."

Before he could pull the trigger a flash of green knocked him down. Zookeeper straightened his goggles, looking for the source which had knocked him on his rear. He found it. A large green griffin towered over him. In its beak was his weapon. Zookeeper reached for it, but under the pressure of the beak the device broke.

Zookeeper gripped his head and screamed. "NO!"

The broken device let out a wave of green energy, turning its victims back to their normal human selves. Zookeeper mourned the lost of his device as Robin slapped handcuffs on his wrists.

The police shut the door behind Zookeeper and then drove off, the Titans watching. Once the car was out of view Robin, Starfire, Cyborg and Raven looked at Beast Boy. Feeling everyone's eyes on him the changeling cocked an eyebrow.

Robin rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly before dropping his hand to his side. "Beast Boy, since when can you transform into a griffin?"

Beast Boy shrugged his shoulders. "I dunno. I think it has something to do with that needle Zookeeper had the first time we fought."

"It this griffin the only side effect of Zookeepers needle?" Starfire asked.

"I don't think so. Beast Boy had a dream about a griffin, as well as a few other animals," Raven piped up. She looked at Beast Boy. "I think your nightmare was actually a message. Your mind was trying to tell you about the changes going on in your body."

"As soon as we get back to the Tower I want to run a full test on you," Cyborg said as he and the others went over to the T-car. He paused just outside the door. "You coming, BB?"

Beast Boy smiled ear to ear. "Nah. I'm gonna fly."

With that being said the green teen ran. His body changed into a pegasus and he flew off into the sky, the sun's light embracing him as he reached the clouds.

Hi everyone! This is my version of season eight to Teen Titans, as well as the sequel to my previous story Teen Titans Together (which was the sequel to my first story Teen Titans Go). I don't think it's necessary to read the first two stories to read this one but you are all more than welcome to. Warning though, back then I was just beginning so the writing is rough. Very rough. I've improved though-Or at least that's what I tell myself, lol. Anyways...

This story will have a total of 13 chapters. The couples in this story are Robin/Starfire, Beast Boy/Raven, Cyborg/Bumblebee, Kid Flash/Jinx.

I hoped everyone liked this chapter!

Next chapter: The Titans are transported to another universe and meet alternate versions of themselves. Are these other Titans all what they appear to be?
