As Tori and Cat do a scene in front of the class, I look down at our hands. Beck's fingers are laced between mine, his thumb softly caressing my skin. I smile to myself, and look up at Beck. His focus is on the scene happening on stage, and it allows me a few seconds to marvel on his face. Eyeing Sikowitz, I sneak a kiss onto Beck's cheek. Instantly, his attention is on my eyes. He smiles, and pulls me closer.
I pick my legs up, and lay them on top of Beck's lap. His hand moves to my knees. His other arm wraps around my shoulders, and I lean my head into his chest. He leans his head down, and kisses my head.
For the rest of the class, I am blissfully unaware of everyone else.
After class, Beck reaches for my hand, and we head to the lobby. Tori, Robbie, and Andre are talking by Tori's locker, and Beck leads me towards them. I resist, and Beck turns to me.
"Come on," he insists, dragging me towards the group. I groan, and approach the group with obvious disgust.
"…And I can't believe Trina would do that!" Tori moans.
"What'd Trina do?" Beck asks.
"She though it would be funny to audition for the same part as me!" Tori cried, obviously outraged.
"Oh you pour child." I say, sarcasm dripping off my words. Beck squeezes my hand, his reminder for me to calm down.
"Thanks Jade." Tori says, throwing her books into her locker. I smile a sarcastic smile and lean in towards Beck.
"Why are you worried about her auditioning for the same part as you? You know she'll probably suck, anyway." Robbie says, and everyone nods. I don't like Tori at all, but I have to admit, she'd crush Trina in any audition.
"I don't know. She just always does these things to make me mad." Tori says, reaching to grab her bag out of her locker.
"I wouldn't worry about it if I were you, you're going to be fine." Beck says, and I flinch at his compliment. Eww. I hate that he's so nice to everyone. Especially her. The second I flinch, he realizes why, and wraps his arm around me reassuringly.
"Thanks guys. Here goes nothing!" Tori says, as she heads to the Black Box Theater for the audition.
"Let's get out of here," Beck whispers into my ear, and we quickly say bye and head to his truck. He opens the door for me, and I slide into the passenger seat. As he walks over to his side, I throw my bag on the floor, and pull my legs up onto the seat.
Beck gets in and turns the car on, smiling and waving bye to people as he leads the car out of the parking lot.
"God, why do you have to be so nice to everyone?" I ask, watching some girls' reactions to his wave. They made me sick. Beck laughs and rolls his eyes.
"It's not too difficult. You should try it sometime."
"Shut up," I say, and I lightly punch him in the arm. He smiles and pulls me closer to him. As we approach his RV, we both wave to his mother standing at the kitchen window. While my parents ignore me, Beck's adore me. They treat me like a part of their family, and have never questioned me and Beck's relationship. They haven't even commented on the fact that I've slept over in Beck's RV. They trust Beck unconditionally.
We get out of the truck, and head straight for the RV. Beck unlocks the door, and I hop up the steps. Throwing my bag on the floor, I turn and smile at him.
"Hi Beck." I say.
"Hello Jade." Beck says, dropping his bag on the ground and picking me up. Our lips meet, and I melt into him. I wrap my legs around his waist, and he carries me to his bed. We stumble to get rid of our shoes and socks, and I quickly move to take his shirt off, all while our tongues explore each other's mouths. He starts unbuttoning my shirt, and I immediately swear at myself internally for wearing a shirt with so many buttons. I take my hands out of his hair only to help get out of my shirt. My camisole is over my head before I know it, and when our bare stomachs touch, shocks run through my whole body. Beck starts kissing my neck, slowly trailing down to my chest. As much as I want to keep going, I know that we need to stop before things get too…intense.
"Beck." I say, trying to make my voice stronger than it really is.
"hmm?" he moans, as he starts trailing kisses back up my neck.
"We have homework to do."
"Stop. Please." Beck moans again, his lips lingering on my neck. After a few seconds though, he realizes that I'm right, and he sighs.
"I'm sorry." He says, and drops his head onto my chest.
"I'm not. But we have too much to do right now." I stroke his hair, and for a while, we just lay there, content with the way things are.
"okay, let's get started." Beck says, and drags his bag closer to him. Instead of grabbing my shirt, I grab Beck's. I love wearing his shirts, and I know he loves it, too.
