Disclaimer: I don't own anything in this universe; Toei does.
Author's Note: Because they're too freakin' adorable not to ;)? These are 'not-drabbles' (i.e. 'flash' fanfiction) that I just couldn't get out of my head. Their ratings may vary, but one thing they have in common is that they are all about Takuya and Kouji, Kouichi and Kouji, or sometimes all three (with side helpings of the other Chosen). I blame the recent Xros Wars episodes for the sudden Digimon kick I am on (would you believe there is barely any Kiriha and Taiki fanfic?). Will be updated in-between my Narnia postings as those will take priority for now—especially since I'm finally back online after moving! I hope you enjoy it!

Takuya lowered his head, shutting his shimmering eyes as he clenched his fists and bowed deeply. "I'm so sorry, you guys. This was all my fault. I'm so, so sorry."
Izumi smiled. "What for?"
"I didn't see you do anything wrong," Tomoki piped up. "I knew you'd come, after all."
"H-Huh?" Takuya's eyes flew open and he stared at the younger boy.
Junpei grinned. "Yeah, you totally saved our butts back there." He turned his grin to Kouji: "You, too, Kouji."
Kouji actually smiled, shaking his head. "I didn't do much of anything. It was all Takuya." His eyes crinkled warmly at the corners as he turned his gaze to the brunette. "We definitely owe you."
At that, Takuya bowed his head even more and turned away, shaking. "I…didn't do anything…but trust you and…trust Agunimon's powers." When he opened his eyes, there were tears in them, "It…it wasn't easy, and I…"
"Takuya…?" Izumi asked softly, concerned. She stepped forward.
Takuya didn't really notice: Kouji's hand had settled on his shoulder and the bluenette abruptly flicked the fingers of his other lightly against Takuya's forehead. "Come on, fearless leader. What's with the break down? Everyone's all right now, aren't we?"
Kouji couldn't have pulled a more startled reaction if he had tried: within seconds, Takuya had thrown himself at the other boy. "Ta-Takuya?" Kouji stammered in shock as the brunette's arms wound tightly around him.
Said goggle-wearing leader buried his very damp face against his friend's shoulder, still shaking. "Y-You scared me, Kouji," he choked. "You really scared me."
Awkwardly, Kouji patted the trembling brunette's head. "L-Like I said, everyone's fine now." He gently grasped Takuya's shoulders and pushed him away, but not far enough (or hard enough) that the other boy would be hurt. He smiled softly into the startled brown eyes, "Especially me."
