*I still don't own Victorious*
Let Me See You Stripped Down to the Bone
It was a nice house. It was white and as innocent looking as all the other houses in the neighborhood. He scowled, 'Guess it's true what they say about not knowing what happens behind closed doors.' He stepped onto the walkway and made his way to the door. He knew the worst was over. Cars were gone and it was quiet. It was a thick silence that seemed to press on his skull. 'It's just like it was last time.' He thought sadly.
*Two Years earlier*
"You are seriously starting to piss me off now, Beck." They were walking down the hallway getting ready to go home for the weekend. He smirked his usual annoying smirk.
"C'mon, Jade. Just one date." She stopped and turned on him. Speaking so harshly it would have scared off any normal person. But then again, many would debate on Beck's sanity at this point.
"I said NO!" He remained with a smirk still on his face. Annoyed she began walking again faster. He didn't move, but called out,
"I'll pick you up at 8!"
"Don't count on it!" She called back. He smiled and strolled to his car.
He was getting ready in his RV to go to Jade's. So what it she practically threatened to castrate him if he did so? Maybe he was a little crazy. He pulled his shirt over his head when his phone went off. It was a text from Cat.

WATS THT SUPPOSED 2 MEAN?
He laughed and got into his car.
He drove up to her house and got out. He wore a white t-shirt and jeans. As he walked something wasn't right. It was quiet. Unnaturally quiet. Wary he walked slowly to the door. He knocked several times, but no one answered. There were no cars in the driveway so he decided to just go in. He looked around confused. Inside looked gorgeous. White walls, a few plants and vases, a pale gray couch, but there was glass shattered near one wall. Probably from a cup. A vase was also broken. Looking to his left he saw a stair case that led upstairs. On the side of it was an indent in the wall. Like someone punched it. He was getting a little nervous now and was debating whether or not to leave when he heard a faint noise come from upstairs. Hesitantly he began his climb. He heard the sound again, louder this time. It sounded like a sob. The staircase turned a little and he came to a big hallway. It went both ways. The noise came from the right. Walking slowly he stopped at the last door. He took a deep breath and opened the door. He should've been surprised. He should have gasped or fainted or something, but he just stood there. Jade sat in the middle of her bed with her knees up to her chest crying. Jade West was crying. She hadn't heard him until he shut the door. She looked up slowly. He expected her to start yelling and screaming at him, but she didn't. She looked at him defeated, hurt, and embarrassed. She turned her head away from no longer crying. He glanced down to see her pull her sleeve down, but he could see the blood.
"Jade." It came out thick with emotion. She looked so helpless. She sniffled and tried to regain some of her composure.
"Why are you here?" It came out a little strangled. He sat on the side of the bed.
"I told you I was gonna pick you up at 8." It was the worst time for humor, but he hoped it would lessen the tension in the room. She didn't say anything. She pulled her legs closer.
"You should leave."
"Jade your wrists." He said ignoring her. She turned a sharp glare at him.
"Leave." He moved closer to her and her glare became murderous, but there also something else. Confusion? He looked at her as he grabbed one of her wrists gently. He confusion grew until it replaced the glare completely. "what're-" But he cut her off.
"I'll show you mine if you show me yours." He pulled up his sleeve and hers and put them next to each other. He watched her reaction. She hesitantly touched the crisscrossed scars.
"You…you.." She couldn't get the words out.
"Cut myself? Yeah." She looked at him shocked.
"Wh-when? Why?" He shrugged before he said gently,
"Why do you do it?" She ignored him and looked down at where his hand held her wrist.
"Did you…do you still…?" He shook his head.
"No. I stopped last year." It was silent for a while. It was comfortable. He gently stroked the back of her hand.
"Was it hard?" She asked quietly.
"The…the cutting. Was it hard to stop?" He furrowed his brow in deep thought.
"I guess. I mean, there were times where I really needed it, but I didn't do it." More silence followed until Beck suddenly got up. Her head snapped up frightened. She had showed weakness. She had opened up completely. She was afraid he would leave her, but he smiled reassuringly. "I'll be right back, I promise." He was back five minutes later with a first aid kit. He gently cleaned the cuts and wrapped them up. When he finished he held out his hand. She looked from it to him confused.
"Give it to me." She averted her eyes. "Jade."
"Beck." She said with the same tone.
"Jade give me the blade now." His tone was forceful and full of authority. A tone one couldn't refuse. But she did. Many times. He had noticed her looking at her desk. On it was a flat compact mirror. He walked over and opened it finding the horrible object.
"Beck!" She had gotten off the bed and walked, a little wobbly, over to him. He walked out of the room with her following closely behind and into the bathroom. There he threw it down the drain. "Beck!" she pushed him out of the way and tried to rich it, but it was gone. She started hitting his chest.
"Why. Would. You. Do. That." She said each word with a hit. He ignored her and walked into the hallway, but only made it three steps before she grabbed his shoulder ready to start hitting him again. She got one in before he grabbed both her arms and kissed her. It was slow, but forceful. Exciting, but had familiarity to it. They'd known each other forever. Both bared scars from things in their life nobody else knew about until now. They were so different, yet so alike. They completed each other. He pulled back slightly so his forehead rested on hers.
"I like you a lot."
"I'm just as sane as you are."
"Then you should be in an asylum."
"Fun. We could be cell buddies." She smacked his chest and cracked a small smile.
Beck walked into the house. Last time there was some noise. Some evidence of life. But no just silence. There wasn't even anything out of the ordinary in the house. Nothing was broken or smashed. He went up the stairs and straight to Jade's room, but she wasn't there. Okay, he was starting to really worry. He saw the bathroom light on and opened the door. Jade stood looking in the mirror. Her face was blank as she stared at the welt forming on her cheek bone. She saw Beck and covered it with her hand.
"Oh Jade." He began walking toward her, but she stepped back.
"Don't. Please. Don't look." He took another step toward her and she backed up to the shower.
"Jade." She turned her head trying to cover it. He finally reached her and grabbed her wrists. "C'mon it's only me." She turned a little and looked at him. He gently pulled her hand away to reveal her swelling cheek. The look she gave him seemed to challenge him to say something about it, but he didn't. He brushed away some strands of hair and kissed it softly. She sighed. He rested his head on her shoulder and mumbled.
"I love you." She didn't roll her eyes or answer with a witty sentence. Instead she answered quietly.
"I love you too."
They drove back to his rv. And she spent the night. This was their life. A routine. A life no one, but them knew about. Cat knew some, but not all. But they deal with it. They endure it. Every day. But it would be impossible if it wasn't they. Jade couldn't deal with it. Beck couldn't deal with it. But they can. Because they're Jade and Beck, and Beck and Jade. And they see and feel what others can't.
Okay this is the last chapter. I had major writers block and I'm not sure if this story really captures their relationship that well, but hopefully you enjoyed it and I didn't waste your time. Thank you for all the reviews and uh…Peace out! lol
