Lucario lied helplessly on the ground, breathing heavily, and coughing.
The grass surrounding him was red. His fur was drenched.
Mewtwo grabbed Lucario's neck with his left hand, lifted him up, and started to choke him. Lucario's feet were dangling.
"You think, you can defeat me?"
Mewtwo squeezed the Pokemon's neck even harder. Lucario's eyes felt as if they were about to explode. He tried to attack him, but it was no use.
"I am practically the strongest living thing in the universe, and YOU THINK, THAT YOU CAN DEFEAT ME?"
And with that, Mewtwo threw Lucario to the ground, again.
"Arceus," Lucario mumbled, "Arceus, please…help me…help…"
"Arceus? You think Arceus will help you? Oh please! HA! Arceus is NOTHING! He is pathetic!"
Lucario coughed. This time, he coughed up blood.
It was so hard to speak. He was lying in his own puddle of blood. Coughing, gasping for air.
"Lucario," Mewtwo said.
Lucario couldn't move. He wanted to close his eyes, but he was to weak to do even that.
"No one can defeat me, Lucario, and now, YOU DIE!"
Lucario tried his best, but he wasn't strong enough. He finally closed his eyes, and accepted his defeat. But suddenly,
Lucario opened his eyes and saw his enemy groaning. He then looked up to see what happened and he saw…
It was Mewtwo! There were two of them!
"You fool, I am the real Mewtwo, and you are nothing but a fake!"
And then the second Mewtwo released a horrible aura that was imbued with dark thoughts.
Lucario quickly closed his eyes.
He was so confused. He couldn't move either.
Why were there two Mewtwo's? And why is one of them attacking the other?
He couldn't tell which one was which. They both looked exactly the same.
Mewtwo continued releasing the aura. And then the other one fell again right in front of Lucario.
Lucario slowly opened his eyes.
They both stared at each other.
"Lu-Lu-Lucar-Lucario," Mewtwo stammered, "y-you…b-ba"
But before he could finish his sentence, Mewtwo fainted.
Lucario looked up to see the other Mewtwo, but he was gone! Instead, there was another creature. It was mainly gray in coloration, with a pointed snout, and pointed ears, which the insides were red. It had a large, voluminous mane, which was primarily red but it had black tips. Its mane somewhat resembled as a ponytail, as a teal band down its length, separated the mass of the mane from the lower portion. The creature had a black ruff on its upper body, which pointed at the shoulders. Its upper arms were thin, and so were its lower arms, but they were bulkier. It also had three red claws, as well as the claws on its feet.
Lucario gazed at the creature in awe.
The creature went to Lucario, kneeled and then it started to tend his wounds.
"Wh-Where did, M-Mew-Mewtwo, g-go?" Lucario mumbled.
"There was never a second Mewtwo," the creature said softly.
Lucario looked at Mewtwo.
"Is he dead?"
The creature stared at the savage being.
"No. He just fainted…unfortunately. He received a lot of damage though, and he won't get up for a while, so, don't worry."
Lucario stared at the creature.
"W-were you, the o-other M-Mewtwo?" Lucario asked.
The creature paused for a while.
And then it continued tending Lucario's wounds.
"W-Who are you?"
"You can call me…Zoroark."
A/N: Short story. I got the idea for this when I was playing SSBB with my brother. (I was playing as Lucario. I have no idea why he sucks in that game.) Anyway, I always think about Mewtwo when I play as him. This is my second story. I deleted my first one because it sucked. I hope you like this one! (I really like it! :))
