Love More Powerful Than Death…

Me: Hi guys! I'm back with another one shot. I'd just like you guys to know that this story is a follow up to my series These Four Walls and is told in Stitch's POV.

The stars are beautiful tonight… Like my one true love. Like Lilo. I know I made some huge mistakes in the past. But now I think going trough all the pain they brought was well worth it. Let just hope that doing this wasn't yet another mistake…

I sighed softly as I got up form the hammock. I was ready as I made my way down the trail and towards my home. It was Lilo's 21st today and the party was about to begin. I smiled nervously as I entered the living room. "Stitch!" Yuna rushed up to me. "Thanks for asking Lilo to invite me! It's going to be great. Hey, why look so nervous? It's just a party." "Yuna, it's not JUST any party…" I glanced around quickly to see if anyone was nearby before dropping my voice into a whisper. "I'm going to ask her to marry me."

"Oh…" Yuna said. "Well, in that case, good luck. Does anyone else know?" I nodded. "Just you, Nani and Jumba. Didn't tell Pleakley cause he's incapable of keeping his mouth shut. I want to surprise Lilo…" Yuna nodded. "Stitch." I turned towards the new voice and almost instantly lost my breath. Lilo was standing in the doorway. She was wearing a long, ankle length white sleeveless dress. Around her neck was a diamond necklace and on her wrist was a matching bracelet. In her hair an orchid danced. "You look beautiful, Bugeebu." I said. "Thanks, Stitch…" She scooped and placed a kiss on my cheek.

The night processed slowly, yet I didn't mind. It was slowly unfolding into the best night of my life. Lilo looked beautiful…No, stunning. Today she put everyone, even the stars, dull by comparison. I kept glancing at her to make sure she's really there and that all this was not a dream. Finally, the moment came…

I took my place in the middle of the room, but Turo, I was nervous. I pushed my fears and nervousness aside and said: "Everyone, I got a few words to say." My Ohana fell silent and Lilo looked at me curiously. I took a deep breath and started to speak. "Actually, I won't know where to begin… I just want to thank our Lilo for being there for me. I know I made a lot of mistakes before and I learned for them, but the worst mistake I made was one during my glitch." I knew that Lilo knew what I was talking about. I turned to her before I contuied. "I decided to leave Earth after I hurt Lilo. But some good came out of it. She saved my life that day, and it was a sign of where I am today." I was now moving towards Lilo. Her eyes were already filled with tears. "Her love was more powerful than death. I suppose I'll get right to the point…" I knelt right in front of her. "Lilo, I love you more than my own life and I always will I just want to ask you this…" I pulled a little blue box into few, opening it and revealing the ring before I asked the fatal question… "Lilo, bugeebu, will you marry me?" It was silent for a few moments before I got my reply. And when I did, she answered with all the in the world. "Yes, Stitch, I will marry you!"

So, to today I really do not know why I was worried that she'd say no. But then I don't care. She loves me and I love her, and that on single night, I was sure that the stars could never, EVER be as beautiful as she was that night.
