Narcissa observes all these acts, and tells me that my actions are undignified, that I have given up my honour for the Dark Lord. She insists that love should not prevent a Black from behaving respectably, and though I pretend to agree with her, her statements only prove how little she understands. She may think she knows something of love, but she doesn't understand it as I do. I may have sacrificed my dignity in favour of the Dark Lord's attentions, but I do not regret it in the slightest.
I would sacrifice far more if I thought it would change anything.
