This is just a little thing that, in my opinion, would be so awesome if it were true. It appens at the end of Parting of the Ways. Or whatever that episode was called. I'm sure we all remember it!

Anyway, I just thought this would be the freakiest thing ever to happen on Doctor Who. See if you like it and review please! :D

Rose stared at the Doctor, frightened and confused. She'd just awoken on the floor of the TARDIS not five minutes ago, and her Doctor was already exploding into golden light.

When the light faded, Rose found her fear evolve into pure horror. And her confusion grew immensely.

The Doctor was equally confused, trying to comprehend the regeneration.

"What the…?" cried Rose. "What is this supposed to be?"

"Oh?" said the Doctor. "I've regenerated—Oh, that's weird. My voice is higher. And I'm shorter. And thinner." The Doctor inspected the new hands. "My hands are smaller, too! And… softer."

"What are you talking about?" asked Rose, backing away slowly. "Where's the Doctor?"

"That's me! Same person, new body." But something was off. In past regenerations, the Doctor never felt quite this different. Something was new. Something was different. Something was wrong.

"You are NOT the Doctor! You're not even a…" Rose's voice trailed off in worry.

"I'm not... New hips. That's weird. Differently shaped. New stomach, thinner waist, new…" The Doctor's voice stopped abruptly. The problem was identified. "I'm a…" The Doctor's hands cupped around two very new pieces of anatomy. "I'm a lady! Oh my god! How is that even possible? How can I be a girl? A woman!"

He—I mean, she—looked at Rose, more disgusted than concerned.

"This is repulsive! I don't want to be a girl!" She paced back and forth, tripping over the legs of the pants that were way too long. "I mean, look at me!" She grabbed a handful of her hair and put it in front of her face. "What's this?" she said, inspecting the new hair color.

With a gleeful smile, the Doctor looked back at Rose. "Look! I'm a ginger!"

"That's great…" said Rose, "No, sorry. I still don't get it. Who are you?"

Ignoring her, the Doctor continued, "But this is freaking weird! Ginger or not!" She began to pace back and forth. "I never wanted to be a lady. But I wanted to be ginger! But how can I be a girl! You and I just kissed! How awkward is that! Hmm… I wonder… If just successfully regenerated, if I die one more time, it should reset the regeneration process."

"What the hell?" cried Rose.

"But there would be side effects. I might have a neuron-implosion from the rapid regeneration. That'd be nasty. And, the two of us might just forget the last five minutes of me being a lady. Plus I might not be ginger. Or worse: I might become so irresistibly sexy that millions of teenage girls will fall under the spell of my fangirl attraction. Still… I couldn't be more awkward than this…"

She picked up a phial of poison conveniently located on the TARDIS console.

"Bottoms up!" then she downed the poison, burped, twitched, convulsed, and died. Her face and hands shot out a golden light, and, well, we all know what happens next!
