"You know this is the only question, Calwyn." Samis said as he watched her standing in front of the window that looked over Spareth as they had done a million times, "Will you do it not can you do it." He slipped his hands around her waist and she leaned into him.

"I can't. The Goddess didn't mean for me to do this." She said softly. Samis growled and turned her around so that they were looking at each other.

"Don't you understand? The Goddess has gifted you with these gifts for a reason! Be my Queen and you will be the Goddess. I've said this before, the old Gods are done, and we are the new Gods. With our power, we are as strong as any God." Slowly Calwyn considered what he said and then, very slowly, said "I'll do it. I'll be your queen and the queen of Tremaris." A smile spread across Samis's face, and then he leaned in and kissed her. They kissed for a long while, Samis urging her to enjoy it and eventually, she did. Samis had her pressed against the wall when they finally broke apart.

"We need to prepare and to do that, we need to sleep." He pulled her along to where they slept, but this time they pulled their mats together and Samis held her as they fell asleep. Cal kissed him once more before she fell asleep. Everything she had once felt for Darrow had been redirected to Samis. Of course, unlike when she felt that way for Darrow, her feelings were returned. Samis woke up first and started to prepare breakfast before waking up Calwyn. When she woke up she walked over to him and kissed him on the cheek.

"Good morning, love." He said as he handed her breakfast. They ate in a comfortable silence.

"Ready to plan?" Samis asked as they finished eating. They spent the whole day getting ready and they decided that they would conquer Antaris first. At the beginning Calwyn had been a littleā€¦ apprehensiveā€¦ about going there first, but decided that she would have to get over her fear sooner or later and Samis chose sooner for her.

"I've got an idea." She said a few nights before they planned to go to Antaris.

"And what is that, my little priestess?" He said as he wrapped her in his arms and trailed him lips up her neck.

"I'll saw I've killed you to Darrow and the others. Then we'll do the healing dance we planned. If all goes right then the world will be fixed. No evil at all. It will all be gone. As if the voiced ones never did so much damaged, ripe and new," She turned to him and whispered, "ours for the taking." He purred. A smile spread across his face and he could wait anymore. He kissed her as he had never kissed her before.

In the years to come, Calwyn and Samis slowly secured every nation in the whole of Tremaris. Many people tried to stop them, only one came even close to succeeding. A small little servant girl, who went by the name of Jemaric. She crept into their sleeping corridors in the dead of night and tried to smother them to death, but before the guard came in, Samis was dead. Calwyn continued to rule Tremaris, squelishing out any rebellion, no matter what the cost. Slowly, the madness of losing so many loved ones and having to plan every second of every minute, drove her mad. She killed herself on the anniversary of the first conquest- Anataris.

A new era came about Tremaris. One of evolution and change, people began mating with different nations, forgetting about the past. Song became a myth. The Dances became just fun things to do around the camp fire.

And people forgot.

I hope you enjoyed it.

I'm working on getting enough stories that I can become a Beta. So I was looking for un-finished stories and lookie here! I found this one, un-finished! Then I gave it a bit of tender love and care, and popped it here!

Please read and review, thank you!
