The Eve Project: Chapter 2
huh? I snap my head up, my neck feeling like I had just put on death row and had been hanging from a noose for the past half a hour.
Cruz scratched his head, messing with his hair slightly. "Well, I just saw Eve, and she didn't seem all that happy, do you know why?"
"No." I said, placing my head back onto the side of my shoulder.
He let out a short noise that sounded disappointed before smiling. "Well, she's in the flower garden if you want to talk to her."
Yamada entered the room of sterlization where Gido was writing on a notepad.
I walked down the gleaming hallway before coming down to a stop next to the double doors. I yawned. Next to the doors is the confession box, which hasn't been used since the third episode.
But, something was different, I could see a shadow in it, just sitting, a rough outline of there shoulder and there hair- girl- and hands that were folded in there lap.
Slowly, I slid into the other side. "Hello?"
"Oh, hello." The voice sounded familiar but, I couldn't place it. Eve?
"So what's up?" I asked, sliding my hands down onto my legs, trying to make a comfortable position in the tight space.
"I needed to talk to you about something, something called the 'Eve 74', or more commonly The Eve Project."
"Why do you want to talk about tha- her? She's just a girl, the only girl out of the Eve project that survived."
"Not exactly. Both you and me know that the Eve project was a fail, the thing had no memory, it couldn't remember something, it took up too many calories in it's diet, and it's power was- is- weak."
"Why do you keep calling Eve weak? She's not weak."
"Normally I wouldn't call somebody weak, however, in this case, it's necessary. The Eve you know- and believe in- was and still is a failure, the memory cells never developed, her fighting skills are off, and she will believe in anything that you feed her. She. Is. A. Failure." The person lifted back the hood that they were wearing, attatched to a brown robe, her delicate fingers gripping onto it.
"Isn't that right Blade?"
Waist length purple hair and purple hair were revealed. Eve Neuschwanstein.
Of course, besides the fact that it was Eve trash talking herself in a confession box, to me, everything else in comparison that happened after that, was way weirder.
Dust rose up into my nose, and I sneezed, covering it, and loking around. It appears that Eve's having some personality issues. There was two of her after all.
Wait... go back, read script.
The confession box was destroyed, and was laying in rubble around me. I looked around, seeing that one Eve was quickly dodging around the room with amazing speed, where as the other had a drill that started up at her elbow.
Okay, so the fake one has the ability of speed aparently.
Then, she did something really odd.
There was a drill on the end of her arm, just like Eve (uh... 74?) dodging around with just as much speed as before. A second later she thrusted out towards Eve(74) gliding against the granite, before slamming into her.
Eve(74) bounced back into the brick wall behind her, bleeding from an unknown source.
