This is my first fanfic. I'd enjoy getting reviews even though there's not really anything good about what I wrote. [:
I heard the soft sound of footsteps on my lawn. The lawn I worked so hard on to make it presentable, beautiful. It was Bryce who was carrying a shovel in hand. How dare he even come close to my yard – much less with a shovel in hand! "Dad," I said my voice hoarse and filled with desperation.
"Juli," He started. "I gave him permission."
And that was when I got up from my chair and stormed outside, ready to tell him off. I stopped, seeing the plant he was putting into the hole. It was a sycamore tree. A SYCAMORE TREE! I said in my mind.
Bryce seemed to just now notice me and he gave a nod, a stiff one as he kept on with what he was doing.
I was speechless, but I managed to utter half a sentence. "I can't…I can't thank you enough, Bryce."
I stopped patting dirt of the sycamore tree's roots and turned back to face her. Instead of answering her, I got up and did something that probably surprised me more than it did her. I took her hand gently and kissed her. "Julianna Baker, I love you," I said after she pulled away.
I was shocked but happy. He kissed me…That kiss that I'd been wanting since second grade was now mine. He was looking at me unsure of what he should say. "Bryce," I said, smiling. "I love you too."
I looked off into my yard, and saw Lynetta laughing like a retard. I just waved at her, savoring the moment with Juli. "And," I said, getting ready to apologize for everything. "I'm sorry. For the eggs, for not punching Garett when you talked about your uncle…" I saw her eyes smiling, and I kissed her again. I was flipped forever.
