The Umbrella Academy
Number 5's POV:
"Godamnit number five, what the hell is going on? And don't give me that shitty excuse of 'I don't know what you're talking about' because you do." The kraken yelled at me from across the room. Kraken wanted to punch my tiny eight year old face in, assassin or not. But he obviously wouldn't, he knew that it would go against his morals, and I'm sure he didn't want to die so young.
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"FUCK YOU NUMBER FIVE!" Kraken hissed as he walked out of hargreeves office. I leaned back into the black leather chair and waited for the next one to walk in. they would all want to know about the sudden deaths of the vice president and speaker of the house, and everyone now knew (thanks to the rumor) about my assassin dna. They would be thinking in their primitive minds that I did it. And I would deny it.
Whether or not I was lying is a whole other conversation.
I sipped at my coffee and waited to hear the next pair of footsteps echoing down the long, hard wood hallway. My thoughts wandered to the recent death of pogo, my- well, I'm sure what he was to me but it was something close to a friend. I remembered the first time we had really bonded; it was the day before I made the mistake of going too far into time. He figured my intentions out real quick, but he never said a word.
