Kurt never got tired of watching The Wizard of Oz. It was the original source material for Wicked, after all, and he had the entire Wicked soundtrack memorized long ago. And it was nice to have someone to share it with.

He leaned his head on Blaine's shoulder and watched the Wicked Witch melt away. "I always hated this part," he confessed.

Blaine looked down at him. "Why?"

"I thought I would melt away like that, if I got wet. I wouldn't take a bath for a whole week, the first time I saw this."

"And Dorothy stole her shoes."

"Well, wouldn't you? They're amazing shoes. I'd want them with a higher heel, though."

Blaine chuckled. "You had those shoes, didn't you?"

"My dad bribed me with them to get me to take a bath."

"He knows you so well."

The movie was coming to the end now. Kurt set his empty popcorn bowl aside and slid his head down into Blaine's lap. "This part always makes me cry," he said. "I hate goodbyes."

"Me, too," Blaine said, reaching down to stroke Kurt's hair. Normally Kurt didn't like anyone touching his hair, but Blaine knew just how to run his fingers through it without messing it up too much. Kurt had such soft, shiny hair.

"Want to watch Sleeping Beauty after this?" Kurt asked drowsily.

"Cinderella," Blaine countered.

"Okay," Blaine said, knowing that Kurt would be asleep before the end of The Wizard of Oz. He leaned back against the back of the couch, and went to sleep, too.

And dreamed of ruby slippers.
