Chapter#5: One Day
It all started with Rhonda's Origami love predictor n the 4th grade.
One day I'll be the one captivating your heart…
Then came that full-on love confession on top of the FTi building.
One day you'll love me the way I've always loved you…
Then a realization in the jungles of San Lorenzo in the 5th grade.
One Day we'll be together…
Then a relationship that didn't last for long because when you love someone or something you let them go… if they were meant for you they will come back.
One day you'll cross the oceans just to be with me…
Then he's back again for the holidays.
"Hey Arnold, how's your running?." A 22 year old Helga asked cheekily as they both walked in the supermarket's parking lot that night.
"Ok. Why do you ask?." He asked innocently.
"Come here' she grabbed his hand and looked around to make sure the coast was clear. "Ok so we'll try to set off the alarm on these cars and run away! It's gonna be a riot!."
Helga sighed and rolled her eyes, "Come on Arnold. Live a little. We're not gonna hurt anyone."
"What if the people who owned the car were really jumpy or had a bad heart or something? Think of how worried and anxious their car alarm would make them."
Oh Arnold, ever caring chivalrous prince of the suburbs…
"Ok fine. Let's look for a car that looks like it belongs to a healthy person." She chuckled mockingly and then spotted a mustang. "Ok get those feet ready." She told him and then shook the car and sounded the alarm.
"Let's go!." She laughed as the two blondes made a run for it till they reached a dark alley.
"I gotta admit." Arnold said as he rubbed tears from his eyes from laughing so hard. "That was kinda fun."
"Never a dull moment with me Arnold. Have you forgotten?." She raised an inquiring brow at him as she smirked and crossed her arms.
"How can I forget?." He looked at her lovingly.
And it begins again… this time lasting forever…
Rhonda should have never doubted her Origami predictor…
(MUSIC: THE FRAY-THE WIND)
Author's Note: Something I just thought up as I listened to The Fray's new single. Not a big fan but they make awesome music for rainy days, which is what we're having now here in this little desert country.
Plus car tipping is something I've recently thought of doing when I get the chance, I just need my Arnold to be with me … not sure why ;) Hope you liked it.
