AN: Just a short oneshot I wrote one night when I couldn't sleep. I think it's one of the best oneshots I've written, and I'm happy with it. :) I own nothing, thanks for reading!

"A-Alvin.." the youngest Seville brother stuttered as he shook the shoulder of the oldest.

"What..?" the red-clad boy grunted, clearly not pleased at being awoken from his slumber.

"I-I'm scared.." Theodore said, clutching his beloved teddy bear to his chest fearfully. "I had a nightmare.." The chipmunk in green didn't notice his older brother roll his eyes. "C-can Teddy and I sleep with you?"

Alvin sighed. "Aren't you getting a little too old for that stuff?" They had recently turned ten! Theodore should be able to sleep by himself by now. And he was still sleeping with a teddy bear, too. Alvin mentally scoffed.

"No..." the child in the green footie-pajamas mumbled, clearly hurt by his brother's words.

The older of the two looked into his little brother's watery eyes before sleepily saying, "Why didn't you ask Simon?"

"Your bed was closer." Alvin couldn't help but smile as he scooted over to make room for his baby brother. No sooner had they drifted off into dreamland when they heard a loud crash from the other side of the room followed by a pained yelp.

Both brothers opened their eyes to find that Simon, the middle child, had disappeared from their sight. It was clear where he was, however, as the entire bottom two shelves beside his bed were empty, and the covers were also gone.

Alvin erupted into a fit of laughter, one that he probably couldn't have held back even if he wanted to, and the youngest of the brothers looked to blue-clad sibling with concern laced onto his features.

"Shut up, Alvin!" Simon barked at his brother, standing and glaring in the direction he heard the laughter coming from.

"I-" Alvin said in between laughs, "didn't say anything!"

Simon emitted a low growl as he put on his glasses and began to put the items strewn across the floor back into their rightful places.

"So what got you so worked up that you rolled right out of bed?" Alvin questioned, wiping a stray tear from his eye as his laughter finally seemed to subside.

"It was simply a bad dream." Simon stated in a matter-of-fact tone.

"Aww, did wittle Si-Si have a nightmawe?" The oldest of the three teased.

"As I said before, Alvin, it was merely a bad dream." The blue-clad chipmunk responded, annoyance evident in his voice.

"Also known as a nightmare."

"I suppose you could say that." He barely finished his sentence as a loud thunder clap caused his eyes to widen and almost jump right into bed with his brothers.

"Are you okay, Simon?" Theodore asked worriedly.

"I'm fine, Theo.." Simon sighed.

"He's scared." Alvin remarked.

The bespectacled boy let out an exasperated sigh. He was about to return to his bed when an even louder thunderclap echoed throughout the room.

Slowly the smartest of the three brothers made his way to the center of the room.

He cleared his throat. "U-um.." he started, nervously looking down and fiddling with the hem of his nightshirt. "I was wondering if..due to the circumstances..uh.." He looked up at his brothers hopefully. "May I sleep with you as well?"

"I thought you'd never ask." Alvin said with a smirk, as he and Theodore made room for their brother in the bed.

After the three of them settled down and Alvin heard his brothers' even breathing on either side of him, he knew one thing for certain. He wouldn't have to worry about any nightmares tonight.

Well that was fun. Review please.
