Hey, guys, here's the AntonxSophia drabble I was talking about! I was looking on the date of when I first published this story and I realized that it's been over a year! Goodness, that's a really long time! Thanks for all the requests and reviews; they really mean a lot. 60 drabbles in over a year! That's crazy, and I have you all to thank for it. You guys keep me going with your kind words!
She was certainly a sight to behold. Light purple flowing hair into carefully placed curls. Her purple dress was swishing lightly back and forth as she walked towards an astonished gentleman, who happened to be the talk of the entire ball. She smiled, the sides of her face nearly cracking in two. Her lips curved ever so slightly as she greeted politely, "My name is Sophia," She curtsies for the gentleman, feeling a slight burning sensation in her cheeks.
The gentleman had no mind for idle chitchat and supposedly captivating stories that his older relatives told. The woman before him though seemed to be worth a chat; perhaps even a dance. He felt his face beginning to redden as she greeted him with a curtsy. He was used to this sort of thing all the time, but this woman made him feel differently; more special. He had never seen her before this night, so he assumed she was a guest of some sort. "My name is Anton," the gentleman finally said.
The two shook sweaty palms and Anton bowed, "I'd be rather delighted if I could dance with someone as beautiful as you."
Sophia nodded without a spark of hesitation, "I'd be delighted myself."
Grinning widely in response, Anton carefully took both of Sophia's hands, whisking her off to the dance floor. Everyone else who inhabited the ball slowly drifted off to the side, to see the two circling away in their own little world, staring deeply into each others eyes.
The barrier between the two grew wide and then close again as they kept on dancing. For a moment's time, they were nose to nose, smiling all the while. After circling the floor once again for the umpteenth time, the music stopped.
"I wish this wasn't over," Sophia muttered.
Taking Sophia's hands once more, Anton smiled.
"It doesn't have to be, my dear."
Ah, nothing like a little Anton and Sophia story! I love the couple so much! They are, without a doubt, one of my favorite Layton couples.
Requests and such; AwesomelyMe0728, could you please elaborate on your requests? stormygirl335, if you really want me to write a parody of Professor Layton and the Malignant Growth, I will. :)
