Wisdom, Justice, and Love

Author's Note: For anything in this story to make ANY sense, you'll need to my small drabble 'Gone' first. This is its sequel.

Now she was gone.

She had taken her own life as consequence for destroying 6 billion others.

Many honorable men and women have had their lives taken at one point or another.

But never everyone.

And now he was alone.

The Lord of the Distortion World had no one else.

He was left to reminisce over the lives lost.

One individual in particular stuck out in the Renegade Pokémon's mind.

"I come to this magnificent house of worship tonight… because my conscious leaves me no other choice…"

Giratina was never treated as equally as he deserved to be. He was the Guardian of Death. He had always hoped that Arceus could see him as more.

"A true revolution of values were laid here upon the world order and say of war, 'This way of settling differences is not just…"

Giratina was different from Arceus. She was Life; he was Death. They had their sharing of fighting, but they would never resort to war. Life is something to be valued, he knew. You only get one chance.

"Filling our nation's homes with orphans and widows, of injecting poisonous drugs of hate into the veins of peoples normally humane, of sending men home from dark and bloody battlefields physically handicapped and psychologically deranged."

What was left for him? He could not create a new world. The destruction had left Arceus in despair and mentally unstable.

"Cannot be reconciled with wisdom, justice, and love."

He had no more to live for.

"Cannot be reconciled with wisdom, justice, and love."

He had nothing left.

"Cannot be reconciled with wisdom, justice, and love."

It was time to rejoin her.

"Cannot be reconciled with wisdom, justice, and love."

And now…

"Cannot be reconciled with wisdom, justice, and love."

He was gone.

"Cannot be reconciled with wisdom, justice, and love."

One review for 'Gone' posed the question to me... "What became of Giratina?" After a bit of thinking and writing, I came up with this idea, using Linkin Park's Wisdom, Justice, and Love as the basis.

Also a fun fact, I was born on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, so this is an interesting piece for me.

What did you think? Review and let me know!
