Dresden Files Harry & Hermione
She walked into his shop, glancing around to see all of the items and nick-nacks that littered the shop. She admired some things and snorted at others. "Can I help you?" Hermione turned to see an older man, with white hair. "My name is Bob. Can I be of assistance?"
"Bob's a weird name for a ghost." Hermione stated, tilting her head to the side.
"It's short." He stated, slightly surprised that she noticed that he was a ghost. "And you are?"
"Hermione Granger." She stated and the ghost stepped back shocked.
"Miss. Granger, I did not know that you were coming." Bob looked shaken, he has only heard of a few people who were strong as him, met even fewer who were stronger. Harry and his Uncle were about it. But he had heard about Hermione Granger, the whole council had heard of her power. "It is an honor to meet you."
She smiled, blushing. "Please, just call me Hermione. Do you know if Harry Dresden is in? I have some papers from the Ministry of Magic he needs to sign."
"I'm right here." The voice came from behind her. "Hello Miss Granger, didn't expect you for another few days."
"You knew that she was coming and didn't tell me?" Bob was outraged.
"I just have a few papers you need to sign, saying that you know that I was here and that I mean no threat to the patrons of this city or the Council. You know how politics is." She handed him a file with papers in it. "It should only take a few minutes."
"Why do I need to sign them again?" He asked, opening the file.
"So both forms of our government can't say that they didn't know I was going to live here for a few months to study the Council and the people living here." She shrugged. "I'd like to be here and not be bothered with being attacked by the Councils henchmen while I study your magic."
"So you're going to be here awhile then?" Bob asked, smiling.
Hermione nodded, returning his smile. "I hope to learn a lot from the two of you."
Harry looked up. "So you'll be study the two of us closely?" He was sitting at his desk reading through the papers. "Why?"
"Because if you want to know something well, get to know the masters." She stated.
"Well I wont reveal all my secrets." He replied, going back to the papers.
"It's okay, I can figure out most of it myself." She stated as he finished signing the last paper. "Can't wait to work with you, Harry Dresden."
"Hope you can keep up Hermione." He shook her hand then watched as she walked out of the shop.
"We're going to be working with the Hermione Granger." Bob stated, his voice pitched with excitement.
Harry glanced over at his old teacher and smirked."Bob, you're such a fanboy."
