The weather was changing. The bright, cheerful sky quickly took a turn for the worse. I looked out the hotel window to see a thin layer of fog and somber clouds. The only thing missing was the musty smelling rain.

I glanced over at Edward and smiled when I realized his eyes were already on me. But my smile quickly faded when I saw his eye color. It was a dark brown which indicated that he needed to feed, rather than the lighter, creamier golden color that showed he was fulfilled.

"You need to feed," I said

He pulled me closer to his body and buried his head in the curve of my neck.

"You are right," he said as he took a deep inhale.

He moved his icy lips along my neck in a downward motion. His breath and light movements tickled my skin. Even if I offered I knew Edward would never take my blood, but that didn't stop my heart rate from increasing when his teeth grazed my neck.

"Don't move," He commanded.

Despite his words, I leaned my head to the side to give him more access of my bare skin. He growled in warning. My hands twitched with the desire to touch him. A tiny gasp escaped my lips when he took my skin into his mouth and sucked on it. I bit my lip to hold in the moans that struggled to escape. His hands gripped my waist and caged me to his body, like I was his prey threatening to get away.

Suddenly everything stopped. All the pleasurable sensations vanished, the only thing left was the tingle of where a moist tongue use to be. I was left in bewilderment. Was I dreaming this? The only evidence to reassure me was the slight creak of the window. I glared murderously at the blinds and slowly stood up to close it. Edwards actions left my body in shock. I didn't like that he would just decide to disappear without a word, especially considering what we were just doing. I muttered random words of frustration and decided to make use of my time and get myself ready for the day.

I began to rummage through the bag Alice had packed for me as I made a mental note In my head to thank her. I picked up a sexy pink bandage dress and raised my eyebrow in question. Where did she think I was going with this? I smiled as an idea came to my head. I understood that Edward needed to feed but I couldn't stop my childish thoughts. I jumped when I heard my phone ring. I quickly went over to my nightstand and answered.

"Bellaaaaa!" Alice screamed out .

I moved the phone a few inches from my ear.

"Hey Alice," I greeted calmly.

It was amazing how different our personalities were yet we still managed to become great friends.

"Please change your mind right now! What are thinking? You know this won't end well. Vampires can't cry but I wouldn't be surprised if Edward started to."

I laughed and placed the pink dress on the bed along with a pair of black heels. I was glad they weren't sky high. But heels, no matter what length, doubled my chance of tripping over air or losing my balance.

"Thanks for everything Alice, I really appreciate it. I'll talk to you later."

Before she could try and scream at my foolishness I cut off the line. I checked my messages and for some unknown reason, I felt sad that I had no new messages. I gathered everything I would need and went to take a shower. I didn't waste time, I wanted to be done before Edward came back. When I finished my 10 minute shower, I dried off then applied a light layer of mascara and tinted Chapstick. I pulled on the dress and to my amazement, I didn't feel uncomfortable. The dress showed of my right curves and made me look beautiful. I combed my hair and let it flow down in its natural waves. I slipped on my heels and walked around a little bit in the bathroom. I was a little wobbly. To be on the safe side, I took them off and decided to slip into a pair of flats. I walked out the bathroom and my eyes widened in surprise. I was happy his eyes were golden again but I didn't acknowledge him. I was still upset about his stunt earlier and wanted an apology. I took my phone and started to walk out the hotel room.

"Where are you going?"

He grabbed my outstretched arm before I could reach the doorknob.

"Where are you going?" he repeated when I didn't reply.

I ignored him completely. I tried to get my arm back but his grip only tightened. He tilted my head up to face him yet I refused to look into his eyes.

"I'm going to eat lunch. You may let go of my arm now," I said.

He twisted his face in confusion and let go of my arm.

"You are expecting me to let you wander around, while looking so alluring? You would rather I leave you by yourself and let other men try to get what is mine?"

I felt my cheeks burn at his words. I searched my brain for a response but I was at a loss for words. His face twisted into irritation, my silence seemed to really bother him. A while passed with me looking anywhere but Edward and him burning holes into my face.

"My love, I think it's best if we leave now. Although my driving skill are excellent, I would prefer not have you in the car under such conditions." Edward said.

It was then I noticed the weather outside. A light drizzle was falling. It was my intention to leave for lunch without consulting him. I wanted him to know how I felt when he suddenly left. Due to the weather, I knew my plan had to cancel .

In a blink of my eye, our bags were packed. His unnatural speed never ceased to amaze me. I didn't have much to do beside take my bag but of course Edward wouldn't allow me to carry it.

"You know, my arms and legs are working right?" I asked him, breaking the silence.

I appreciated his help but I felt the need to let him know.

His lips twitched up into his crooked smile.

"I enjoy taking care of you. I'm sorry about earlier, I was afraid of losing control," he said.

He pressed a quick kiss to the top of my head and tangled his fingers with mine. I smiled genuinely at his apology. I understood his fear, but I doubted he was capable of losing control unless he allowed himself to. I took my phone and searched through my messages. I mentally scolded myself. Deep down I knew the reason for my constant need to check my phone but I did not want to admit it. We made our way to the lobby and checked out.

"The valet will bring your car in a few minutes. Please wait out front and enjoy some mints. Have a nice day." Levi said.

He placed a bowl of mints in front of us. I took a few and slid it in my side pocket.

We went outside to the front and waited for the car. A minute passed before it came. Edward, with his natural politeness, opened my door and I slid in. It wasn't long before he started the car and we were on our way. I wanted to stop by the library but that had to wait for another time.

I tried to make the moment enjoyable but nothing would work. I even tried to think of it as Bella whose hands were touching me. Nothing was able to calm my nerves or settle the anger of my wolf. I didn't understand why I didn't have an imprint because my body sure did act like I did.

"Come on, let's go to my bedroom," I said loud enough for the guys to hear.

Her eyes lit up in excitement. I scoffed mentally and quickly led her upstairs. When we were both in, I closed the door. She wasted no time in latching her skin back onto mine. Her soft hands trailed up my chest and wrapped around my neck.

"Why don't you want to kiss me? Is it my lipstick? I'll wipe it off," She made a move towards the bathroom but I stopped her.

"I'm just extremely exhausted. It was nice spending time with you. I should probably go to sleep," I said with a yawn.

I tried my best not to hurt her feelings while trying to get rid of her. Technically I wasn't lying because I actually was tired but I couldn't tell her the real excuse for my lack of interest.

"No problem, I'll keep you company while you sleep," she said with a giggle.

I didn't want to share my nap with her but I wanted the guys off my back.

"Great," I replied.

I laid down on the far right side of my bed making sure to leave more than enough space for her. I shut my eyes and hope sleep would soon fall over me.

"Who's the girl that your friend spoke of? What's her name, is it Delia?"

I had a feeling that the few moments of silence was too good to be true. I sighed and slid my hand down my face in irritation.

"Bella… is a very close friend," I said

She scooted closer and cuddled up with me.

"Great, so she wouldn't mind me doing this?"

She ran her fingers across the elastic of my shorts then slowly began to make her way down. She cupped her hand to my cock and massaged it through my shorts. I couldn't lie, it did feel good but at the same time it felt completely wrong. As if sensing my distaste, her hands stopped.

"At first I thought you were just shy but your body language is telling me that you're not enjoying this." she said sadly.

I turned to face her. When I saw her dulled eyes and crestfallen face, I instantly felt guilty. I awkwardly cradled her face to my chest and hoped she didn't cry. Her facial expression looked like a child who lost their favorite toy.

"Nothing is wrong on your part. You're beautiful and seem like a nice young lady. It's me that has the problems," I told her truthfully.

"It's the girl, Bella, right?" She asked.

I frowned and wondered how she could possibly know. A tiny giggle escaped her lips .

"I'm very observant. When you spoke of Bella your body became less tense," she said.

I smiled at her words.

"This is the first genuine smile I've seen so far," she said with surprise in her voice.

She got off the bed and began to adjust her appearance.

"It was nice meeting you. I think it's best if I get my sister and leave."

I watched her leave and shut the door. I was happy to be by myself, free to do whatever I want and think about my jumbled up life.
