A/N: THIS IS NOT FOR EDWARD LOVERS! THIS STORY WILL CONTAIN CULLEN FAMILY BASHING! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
Full Summary: It's the Marauders sixth year when 'Bella' – Claws to them – finally returns to them from America, her heart supposedly broken by the Cullen family who believe her to still be in Forks and Isabella Marie Swan. But, nope, Bella's real name is Evelyn 'Evy' Lupin – Remus's twin sister and she's a Metamorphmagus. And yet, her return to Hogwarts isn't all that pleasant, after seeing that the Cullen family were there helping Carlisle in the Hospital Wing.
I rang the bell on the front door and waited for someone to open up the door and let me inside. I bet its Remus who opens up – he's always up late, reading and eating chocolate; he's obsessed with both; I was the twin who got most of dad's pranking gene, though Remy got some too.
I sighed and looked at my watch that used to be my grandmother's. When she died, she had wanted me to have it. It had no numbers, just planets moving around and whenever I'm in school it shows what lesson I have next when the bell goes. Pretty helpful actually.
It was one o'clock in the morning and I was about to go climb up the trellis to the open window of Remus's room when the front door opened and a pyjama clad Sirius opened the door and mad grin on his face as usual.
He frowned, "Who're you?"
I rolled my eyes, changing my still brown, wavy hair back to its bright neon blue that I have it all the time and my eyes from brown to my mother's eyes; grey, "Why, Paddy Poo, you don't recognise me? I'm hurt."
His eyes widened, "Evy?"
I smiled and nodded. Sirius being Sirius swung me over his shoulder and made his way into the basement that we had turned into a sort of game room type thing since Remy went to the Shrieking Shack at the full moons now during the holidays to transform.
"Padfoot, put me down!"
"No can do Claws."
I sighed and lent on my hand, lifting my head up so I wasn't being forced to stare at Sirius's behind. "You know, this is wildly inappropriate."
"Yep, and that's why I'm putting you down here so Moony won't rip off my head for touching his baby sister."
"I'm not his baby sister; he's thirty minutes older than me, that doesn't make me a baby."
"Well, according to Remy it does." He laughed, taking my hand to drag me down the stairs.
"Come on Padfoot! What're you doing up there?" came James's/Prongs's voice.
Sirius stopped and motioned for me to be very quiet. "Shut it Prongs, I have a surprise!"
"You better not have hired someone Sirius!" Remy's serious voice almost made me crack up.
Sirius laughed, "Of course not Moony, in fact, I think you'll like this surprise," he opened the door and stepped through, keeping me hidden behind him.
I could practically feel Padfoot's split into a maddening grin as he pushed me in front of him, "Evy's home!"
"EVY/CLAWS!" both Jamesie and Remy shouted at the same time.
I hugged both of them, eventually sitting down, sandwiched in between Remy and Siri.
"What have you been doing? Where have you been? Whenever we asked Dumbles he just said that you were safe and sound and wouldn't say any more!"
I laughed, "Safe and sound indeed!"
They looked at me funny and I preceded to tell them everything, from moving in with mine and Remy's Uncle Charlie in Forks, to 'finding out' about the Cullen's being vampires – I already knew that they were vampires – to the fight with the nomadic vampires and killing James, my '18th' birthday and finally the Cullen's leaving, thinking that I was still back at Forks and still Bella Swan and not in England and under my real name Evelyn Lupin.
There was silence until, "Vampires are stupid."
We all looked at Sirius and burst out laughing at his random comment.
"I still can't believe that Dumbledore would let you do something like that, if the venom had been in your blood any longer it would've killed you!"
Remus wrapped his arms around me, pulling my body closer to him.
"It's okay Rem, I'm alive and well, no need to worry." I patted his arm and let my head loll onto his shoulder.
We talked and talk for a good two more hours into the early morning. I learned that Peter was on holiday to visit his great-grandmother so that was why he wasn't there, also that James had practically ruined any chances he had with Lily after a stunt with Severus Snape which also caused Lily to fall out with Snape since he called her a word I will never say.
There were lots of other things that I didn't really catch since I was getting tired.
James suddenly yawned, stretching his arms above his head, "Does anyone know what the time is?"
I yawned too, looking at my watch, "Four in the morning."
"Blimey, didn't think it was that late." Sirius flopped down on the sleeping bags that we had put down an hour ago, I had also ran up to Remy's room, stealing one of his way too big t-shirts to sleep in – Remus didn't mind; I had stolen most of his clothes at some point, most of the time, stealing his favourite hoodie when I was cold or just to annoy him.
"Well, I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to sleep." I yawned, climbing into my sleeping bag, pulling it around me tight.
Came three replies.
I heard the others settle down and one of them flicker off the light, plunging us into darkness.
Yes, yes, it's short but please tell me if you want more or if I should just give up – the next chapter should be longer hopefully : )
