You have been invited to a brand new tournament being funded by several prestigious companies, one of which is the Ohtori pharmaceutical company, called the Mori Cup. Within this envelope is an ID card with you number with your fingerprint and picture on it. You are to bring six of your strongest Pokémon with you plus two reserve Pokémon incase anyone on your team has been graciously injured. You may not team up with another trainer who was invited to the tournament unless otherwise instructed. No revivals may be used during a match.
The tournament will be held on an island owned by the Suoh Corporation. There will be several commodities there including a hotel for participate and up to two guest, a swimming pool for relaxing during matches, a Pokémon center to heal your team after matches, several eateries that cater to Pokémon, gyms for exercise, and a hospital should a contestant be injured at any time during the tournament. As stated before you are allowed to bring up to two guests with you, anymore would have disqualified from the tournament. You are allowed to bring your cell phones and laptops with you. You can stay on the island even if you had lost your match.
Boarding for the Mori Cup starts at 9:00 am on Saturday, June 20th at Vermilion City, port 5. In order to enter you must give the ticket printed on the adjacent sheet. Prizes for the tournament will be announced as soon as you arrive at the island.
