Hey guys! Just a fanfic I started up recently that had been clawing at my brain cells for a while… Hahaha to be honest I just wanted some yaoi and I noticed that this pairing was feeling a little neglected in comparison to the others. ^_^;
If you DON'T like yaoi, you have entered what is pretty much your hell. Same goes for people who don't like the pairing ClaudeXSebastian XD This is just me and my slightly perverted little mind starting things off…really slowly…
This is my first posted fanfic, so try not to be too harsh please…I mean , if you ARE harsh then I guess I can't do anything about it…On the other hand, constructive criticism is appreciated! :)
The whole story is going to get progressively limey…and there might even be a lemon towards the end. *eyebrow wiggle*
If that happens it means that a) I have irreparably lost faith in my own innocence and b) I will warn you beforehand :D
I claim no rights to the characters 'cause they belong to Yana Toboso. I do, however, claim the events. THEY BE MINE. *snatch* :D
Well I'll leave my blathering for the end…Have fun with this first (pretty boring) bit…
Chapter 1: A Swift Goodbye
Sebastian Michaelis shook his head wearily at his master's order. Of course, he wasn't saying no to it – he simply couldn't, he was a butler – but the absurdity of the situation made him want to deny his Young Master this entertainment all the more. How had this kind of thing even come to mind? No doubt it was all the influence of that Alois creature constantly by his side nowadays. The two were polar opposites in every way, but Sebastian had seen enough examples of this 'opposites attract' phenomenon to understand the concept behind this friendship. Just about. He exited his master's study, carefully closing the door behind him.
Earl Ciel Phantomhive, a thirteen year old boy with dark hair and startlingly blue eyes with an eye patch on his right was still reasonably innocent in the affairs of the body. Earl Alois Trancy, a boisterous blonde with lighter blue eyes and booty shorts of all things, however, was a lot less innocent. He had quickly told Ciel numerous concepts young men should not know at this day and age, things which Sebastian frowned upon. He didn't frown upon doing them, but speaking of these matters to his pure Young Master was out of the question. It tainted his soul.
Sebastian Michaelis was a demon. He was contracted to Ciel a few years ago; the deal was that after Sebastian exacted revenge on the people who killed Ciel's parents the demon could have his soul. Walking down the hallway to his room, Sebastian licked his lips. Yes, his master's soul, the only reason for going along with the range of embarrassing tasks he had been put through lately. In fact, the only reason for going along with everything that had happened these past few years. Sebastian frowned, opening his bedroom door. Alois was having an increasingly negative effect on his Bocchan.
The old hinges creaked soundly – Sebastian didn't oil them so that he could easily hear visitors enter – as he swung the door open. The only thing out of place was, as always, the intruder in the middle of the room. Sebastian sighed wearily to himself, then plastered on one of his famous cat-like smiles. "I had wondered where you were, if not by your master's side."
Claude Faustus emerged out of the shadows. He was slender and tall, much like Sebastian, and shared the same hue of ebony black hair which contoured his face in short, loose curls. Behind lightly-rimmed, square glasses blazed hawkish ember eyes, sharing his face with a straight nose and an unsmiling mouth. Although not completely opposite to Sebastian, with his straight black bangs of hair, wine-red eyes and his courteous, cat-like smile, they shared base similarities. They both had snow-pale skin, they were both handsome and, of course, both demons.
"I believe you have been given the same orders as I." Claude refrained from using either of Sebastian's names. He always kept a distance, both emotionally and physically, especially from those who could compete with him in strength and still have a good chance of winning. Sebastian issued a small bow in the direction of Claude and his straight-laced aura.
"Indeed. Perhaps your orders differed in structure due to the gap in intellect between our masters, but I believe the context was the same." Sebastian's tone was off-hand as he spoke.
"Slipping into rudeness so quickly?" Claude asked quietly.
"Somebody had to start it. Otherwise the tension in this room will permeate through the mansion and reach the noses of our masters." Sebastian said, eyes flashing in another smile. "You must know the whole point of their orders is to encourage…friction…between us." The smile grew lecherous.
"Friction?" One of Claude's eyebrows rose up a fraction. "I see. You are probably correct… Friction… between us is the most likely goal." Claude tilted his head to the side a little, as if to get a better view of his smirking opponent.
"What time shall we be setting off?" Sebastian asked.
"I see no reason to delay. The faster we leave, the faster the week shall pass, the faster we shall be back at our master's sides." Claude replied.
"Do you suppose we will be spied on?" Sebastian asked.
"If we were not spied on…what would our masters have to gain from this endeavour?" Claude asked in return.
"Indeed." Sebastian agreed. They stood silently for a few seconds, as if sizing each other up.
"After you, my lady." Claude murmured, gesturing to the door. His face was still expressionless, but Sebastian detected a laughing spark in the cold amber eyes.
With a swift motion, Sebastian turned around so his back was to Claude. He looked over his shoulder and smiled once again, eyes closed. "Then let us depart, yes?"
Sebastian bowed to Ciel and Alois, who were standing on the porch, one looking anxious and the other gleeful. "I shall be off then, Bocchan." He said politely.
"Make sure to follow all my orders to the letter." Ciel grumbled distastefully. He always seemed to be angry about something.
Sebastian swept down onto one knee and brought a hand to his heart. "Yes, My Lord."
"Don't you disobey me either, Claude." Alois grinned, standing on tiptoe to pat his butler's head with a grin as if he was a dog.
Claude lowered himself to one knee and raised one hand to his chest. "Yes, Your Highness." he said flatly. Unlike Sebastian's words, his voice held no dedication or charm.
"Chu.~3" Alois placed a small kiss on his butler's cheek, almost making Claude flinch. "Don't you forget it!" he giggled.
Sebastian let his eyes stray to his Bocchan. Ciel jumped and looked away, going pink. Sebastian chuckled. He stooped down on one knee again, gently took his master's hand and kissed it. Ciel's blush deepened as he looked his butler in the eyes. "It's a week, My Lord. I am sure the servants will take reasonably good care of you both." Sebastian got to his feet with a smile. "Bocchan, Earl Trancy. Good day to you." He said, fingers on his top hat. Wrapping his black travel cloak tighter around him, he leapt on the black stallion waiting. Claude bowed too and did the same. With a wave, the two demon butlers sped off, their horses kicking up dust as they travelled along the long road.
Ciel turned to his light-haired friend, frowning. "Alois." He muttered, making the other boy look up. "What have we done?" he asked earnestly.
"We did what we had to, Shieru…or do you want your mansion to stink of tension forever?" Alois grinned, patting Ciel's shoulder. He left Ciel to watch the two black horses melt into the distance with their black-clad riders until the rising sun began to cut his eyes. With a weary sigh, Ciel retired to his friend's company, and decided to wait for the first spy report towards the afternoon. The game he and Alois had thought up just didn't seem as fun anymore now that it was being realised.
How was it? I know the first chapter is pretty dull…but this sorta thing is essential to set at least SOME kind of scene. I don't want this to be any more PWP than it's already promising to be. XD R&R, drool, give me suggestions for things to come, pick your nose...whatever you like, really. If you give me a suggestion and I like it, I will attempt to slot it in in one of the oncoming chapters along with my other ideas. I'll credit you, of course! :D
I will try to get the next chapter up in a few moments, I just need to have another look through and stuff…things get a little bit more interesting, but it will start PROPERLY when Chapter Three comes around. Thanks for reading! If anyone actually bothered to read this…
