Broken Arrow

Ziva entered the gym. It was 6:00am in the morning, and no-one else was around. Well apart from the ancient cleaner Marina, and a few security guards roaming around the room. She crossed the main hall, and walked into a small side-corridor. These lead to the dance rooms.

The quiet Israeli entered quietly. She looked the part- her hair was in a neat bun; her dress was black with a pink sash. It fell to her knees, and had slim, short sleeves. The shoes were, of course, ballet pumps. Black ballet pumps. She dropped her bag to the floor, taking out a CD. At that point, Ziva sashayed over to the stereo, and entered the CD in.

What do you do when you're stuck,
Because the one that you love,
Has pushed you away,
And you can't deal with the pain,
And now you're trying to fix me,
Mend what he did,
I'll find the piece that I'm missing,
But I still miss him,
I miss him, I'm missing him,
Oh I miss him, I miss him, I'm missing him

Ziva pushed the thought of Ray away. He left her. By text. The heartbreak was too much for Ziva, as she swung her legs out in a spinning position. She stayed in that same position for a few more beats, before breaking out of it, billowing around the room at a steady pace.

And you're sitting in the front row,
Wanna be first in line,
Waiting by my window,
Giving me all your time,
You could be my hero,
If only I could let go,
But his love is still in me,
Like a broken arrow.
Like a broken arrow.

He's the thorn in my flesh
That I can't take out
He's stealing my breath
When you're around,
And now you're trying to convince me,
He wasn't worth it,
But you can't complete me,
He's the part that is missing,
I miss him, I'm missing him,
Oh I miss him I miss him, I'm missing him,

Tony thought he was alone, until he heard the music playing. Curious, he slipped into the corridor, and saw Ziva as he passed the door. He did a double-take, before going back, as he watch Ziva swerve into a pirouette.

And you're sitting in the front row,
Wanna be first in line,
Waiting by my window,
Giving me all your time,
You could be my hero,
If only I could let go,
But his love is still in me,
Like a broken arrow.
Like a broken arrow.

As she danced, she felt like someone was watching. She glanced at the door, but at that point, Tony had dropped a penny, and had bent down to get it. Satisfied she was alone, Ziva began to bourrée.

What do you do
When your hearts in two places?
You feel great but you're torn inside.
You feel love but you just can't embrace it,
When you found the right one at the wrong time.

And you're sitting in the front row,
Wanna be first in line,
Waiting by my window,
Giving me all your time,
You could be my hero,
If only I could let go,
But his love is still in me,
Like a broken arrow.
Like a broken arrow.

Tony pushed open the door, and walked into the room. Ziva gasped as Tony walked up to her, literally inches away from her. "I'll wait," he promised, "Until you're heart is healed." Ziva shook her head. "No need to wait," she whispered, "I'm ready."

She leaned in, and they kissed softly, as the next song began to play.

"Dance with me," Tony spoke quietly into Ziva's ear. So she did. Like she wanted to do for the rest of her life.
