This is for the 'Rodolphus Lestrange Competition' by 'Gamma Orionis'
Rodolphus seethed with anger as he watched first the dirty Mudblood friend of Potter's then his wife emerge from one of the spare rooms. Granger seemed keen to leave and was soon dashing down the back stairs and out the door while Bella fluffed her hair back up and reapplied her lipstick. He stepped out of the shadows and said in a deadly quite voice, "Does the Dark Lord know about your little bed warmer?"
"Don't be ridiculous, Darling. I doubt he would approve." She didn't look at all fussed about having been found out.
"So why are you with her?"
"Because she's fun and a good lay. Isn't that why you're with dear Cissy practically every night?"
"Me and Narcissa aren't anything more than friends."
She huffed and kept adjusting her hair in the mirror she'd conjured. "There's no need to hide it. I know Cissy doesn't have any feelings for dear Lucy Malfoy. In fact, I'd heard that Lucius was quite taken with that half-blood Snape."
"Narcissa is merely who I talk to, nothing more. We're friends."
"That might be what you think, but Cissy is quite taken with you."
"Well, I'm not interested. I'd rather by with the woman I married."
"It's a shame she's more interested in Potter's Mudblood friend than, isn't it?" She laughed cruelly and disappeared into the many corridors of Malfoy Manor.
Two weeks later, just as the Mudblood was about to apparate away, he lunged for her cloak. The whirling crush of apparation made it hard to breathe, though only for a second. Before the girl could even say a word she was engulfed in a green, pulsing light.
Her death was splashed over the Prophet, claiming that she was the first Muggle-Born to suffer the consequences of stealing magic from those more worthy than them. Rodolphus tossed the paper to Bellatrix at breakfast. "Wonderful news, don't you think?" He smirked triumphantly as his wife ran from the room.
