Disclaimer: Obviously, I do not own Naruto or it's characters! That's Kishimoto-senpai's job! c:

Short, sweet, down-to-the-point oneshot. (: Dedicated to Sasha (aka seressi10) because she's the only one who reads my stories in lit class BEFORE you people! :P You all should feel jealous. That last statement is exactly something she would say about this haha. Anyhoo, enjoy the story! (:

She didn't say a word; her head hung low, eyes casted downward.

He remained silent as well, his obsidian eyes stared down at her.

She didn't know what to do.

He silently waited.

She couldn't process what she just heard.

He explained why he came back—which was for her.

She didn't believe him.

He didn't expect her too.

She finally raised her head, her bright green eyes boring into his.

He missed those eyes; they haunted his thoughts every night for 5 years.

"Why…"
She finally spoke.

He still remained quiet, trying to find the right words.

She cast her eyes downward again, assuming she wasn't going to get an answer.

"I told you."
He knew if he didn't respond—

she would doubt him even more.

"I'm sorry."
He apologized.

She looked back up at him, clearly shocked at his sudden apology.

He had remorse shining in his eyes, knowing full well how much pain he had caused her.

She slowly smiled that true rare smile he missed so dearly.

He was taken aback slightly, but hope coursed through his vains like never before.

"I forgive you."
She spoke in a genuine soft voice.

He smiled his own rare smile that hasn't shown in too long of a time.

She stepped up to him; wrapping her arms around his torso, resting her head on his chest.

He wrapped his own arms around her small frame.

She then realized how perfect she fit in his arms.

He realized this as well and held her tighter.

"Hey Sasuke-kun?"
She asked; looking up at him, her chin resting on his chest.

He internally smirked at the return of the loving suffix to the end of his name.

"I love you."
She finally said the words he was aching to hear for half a decade already.

He smiled and leaned down, placing a gentle kiss on her lips.

She smiled; tears falling form her eyes as she returned the kiss.

"I love you, too."
He responded after the kiss ended.

She smiled the brightest smile, a one that he clearly remembers from all those years.

He knew—

she forgave him and believed him.

They walked back toward their home to Konoha.

Him and her.
