Sean groaned; a closed fist rapped his door. His groggy head lifted. Emma barged in, thrusting a vile, green liquid at him. "Here. Drink this."
His brow arched. "Em, I told ye tae stay out o' me mind."
"I don't have to be psychic to know you've inebriated yourself again, Cassidy. I know you. You'll put yourself together in time for the afternoon studies; this will help make you presentable to our children." She left him with his mouth hanging open and his hand clutching the glass, hoping he'd take her advice and one day recognize the bond they shared.
