"I'm a giraffe. I even walk like a giraffe with a long neck and legs. It's a pretty dumb animal, mind you." - Sophia Loren

Len and Rin were only 8 years old. It wasn't a surprise that they were very excited to go to the cinema to see the newest film about a talking penguin or something. They had everything in place to give them a sugar rush: popcorn, hotdogs, candy, soda... you name it.

The pair handed their tickets to a cinema employee with grins and skipped into the screen, spreading most of their food across the floor as they jumped around.

"This is gonna be the best film ever!" Rin squealed as she ran up the stairs, looking for the row that her and her brother were going to be sitting in.

They found the seat row and moved along until they found their seat numbers. Then they jumped into their seats and tried to stay still as they squirmed around in excitement.

The twins had great seats.

There was no one in front of them.

There were no crying kids around them.

No one told them off for being loud.

Now, the Kagamine twins couldn't wait for the film to begin.

Of course, there were adverts before the film as more people came into the screen to watch it. They saw many adverts multiple times and were forced to pay attention. Although they tried to make the adverts funny, it was impossible. Those adverts were too boring.

About 5 minutes later, the cinema screen was almost full with people – ages ranging from young to elderly – that wanted to see the film.

Len and Rin were still the most excited.

They were jumping around, singing, dancing and trying to resist the urge to eat the food they had bought for the film.

Everything was going well until something annoying happened.

The twins watched in fear as a human giraffe walked towards them, in the row in front. They were scared.

'He won't...' Rin thought.

'He can't..!' Len thought.

Oh, but he did.

The man and his giraffe friend sat right in front of the twins, blocking their view to the screen. The film started a few moments after that and Rin and Len didn't have time to move.

"What do you think you're doing, Mr and Mrs Giraffe?" Rin hissed angrily. The 'giraffes' ignored her and watched the film.

That was a typical day at the cinema for the twins, considering neither of them got their growth spurt soon after that.

That awkward moment when you're sitting in the theatre about to watch a movie and BAM, human giraffe sits in front of you...
