Disclaimer: "NCIS" and its characters don't belong to me they belong to CBS and are being used without permission. Please don't sue because I have no money.

Author's Note: This is actually been on my mind for a while. I've been in the hospital for the past few days and haven't been online and wanted to write this now. What happened if there was more to what Jenny took home from Paris with Gibbs? I was lucky enough to see NCIS while in the hospital. Takes place a little after Jenny dies.

Souvenir

Tony DiNozzo sat down and turned on the computer and took out a folder as he started the day once again. He loved his work even if he saw the worst of people. He turned to the computer as soon as he could and started reading his mail and he was surprised to see an email from his father. He opened it and read it. Curiously he wondered what his father wanted to tell him. He would be in DC this week and wanted to see him. This week he wasn't that focused on the job as he normally would have been wondering why his father wanted to speak to him. On Saturday he visited his father in the hotel room.

"Why did you want to see me, Sir?"

"Because I wanted to show you something that you need to see." He said as he picked up an envelope and handed his son an envelope.

"What is this?"

"The truth."

Tony opened the envelope and began reading. He was holding his birth certificate and his parents weren't on the certificate."

"Is this true?" Tony stared at his father in horror. How could he? How could his father lie to him after all these years?

"Yes, Anthony it's true."

"How could you? You knew and you never told me."

Of everything that his father had to show him this wasn't it. He took the envelope and what was in it and fled the room. He drove around and didn't even know where he was going, but he wasn't truly wasn't surprised where he had ended up. It was almost every time he wanted to talk someone, but this time he wasn't sure if he was welcomed here, or not. Ever since he had came back from Agent Afloat Gibbs seemed like he was distancing himself from him. He sat there for a couple of minutes and was surprised when he felt a tap on the window.

"Are you going to stay out here all night?"

"Sorry." He said as he got out of the car with the envelope in his hand. He followed Gibbs into the basement. Gibbs went to his bench and Tony sat on the bottom step. He decided to finally blurt it out.

"I killed my Mom and now my Dad hates me."

"What are you talking about?"

Tony held out the envelope. He watched as Gibbs read the certificate.

"When did you find this out?"

"Today when I went to go see my adoptive Dad."

"I never hated you, you know." Gibbs said as he looked at Tony.

"Then why have you been distant towards me when I got back? I just found out that the Director that I was supposed to be guarding is killed on my watch. Not only was she my Director, but she was my Mother and you're my father. Why didn't my Dad tell me sooner. Maybe I could have stopped it and make you hate me."

"I'm so sorry, Tony."

Tony blinked in surprise as that came out.

"I thought you said saying Sorry is a sign of weakness?"

"Not between friends and fathers and sons."

Tony smiled at what Gibbs said.

"I can't promise that things will be easy, but we'll work it out."

Tony smiled again. "Okay, Dad."

Gibbs smiled at Tony as he said Dad. "Okay, son."

They began talking and Tony spent the night in the extra room. They began a father and son relationship and was growing closer and for that Tony was happy.

The End
