HA! I wrote a Scorpius/Rose without violating Scorpius/Lily! I WIN!
Rose was sitting in the kitchen, dropping potatoes into a pot to boil while her parents argued mildly over what spices should be put into the soup when the doorbell rang.
"I'll get it," Rose said immediately, rushing out of the kitchen before her parents could protest. She pulled open the door and raised her eyebrows when she saw her cousin's boyfriend, Scorpius Malfoy, standing there.
"Hi, Scor," she said. "What's going on? Why are you here?"
"Just looking for Lily. She's not at home. I thought she might be over here. Can I come in?"
"No," Rose said, glancing over her shoulder. "No, Lily's not here, but Mum and Dad are, and if you don't get out now–"
"Why should they care?" Scorpius asked. "We're not doing anything wrong."
"Yes, I know that, but my dad hates your dad and… I don't know… he's always telling me to stay away from you and all that…"
"That's stupid. We go to the same school. I'm going out with your cousin. Of course we're going to spend time together."
"Rosie, who's at the door?" called Hermione from the kitchen. Rose winced and ran a hand through her hair in frustration.
"It's Scorpius Malfoy," she called back, sounding resigned.
"What?" Ron shouted.
"You should go," Rose told Scorpius. "Go check… I don't know, we've got half a dozen cousins, go check their houses for Lily."
"Why should I go?"
"Because you being here is going to make my dad crazy."
"Oh, for the love of… well, in that case…"
Scorpius swept Rose up in his arms and caught her lips with his, kissing her in the most melodramatic way possible, just as her father walked into the room from the kitchen.
"Ron," came Hermione's voice, sounding resigned, "she's sixteen years–"
"That's Malfoy's son!"
"I know that, Ron. Now shut up and help me with the potatoes."
Rose saw out of the corner of her eye her mother dragging her father back into the kitchen and shutting the door firmly. As soon as the door was closed, Scorpius let go of Rose, wiping off his mouth.
"That wasn't at all awkward," she mumbled, rolling her eyes.
"Oh, come on, it was just for fun. To annoy your parents, right? That's your job, isn't it, as their teenage daughter?"
"Yeah, yeah, Scor. Now go look for Lily at someone else's house."
