"Balthazar, please don't go." The man begged, staring up at his savior.
"You have no need for me now, though. You're healed and ready to start living. Maybe find someone and settle down." The beautiful angel turned his head away, trying to keep the pain off his face and out of his voice.
"I-I don't think I'm ready yet." Adam bit his lip, watching the love of his life. "I don't want to move on. I don't think I ever will."
"What do you mean, darling? You are healed of the dreams and the flashbacks and you can trust again. You have moved on from it. I don't want to hold you back and I know you never liked angels."
"W-what?" Balthazar stared, wide-eyed at the diminutive youth.
"Just shut up, stupid beautiful angel!" Adam half-shouted in an angry tone.
"Can't you see I'm in love with you? How can you not notice the way I look at you? The way my heartbeat speeds up when you touch me, I know you've noticed! Stupid fucking angel!" Adam threw himself into Balthazar's arms, kissing him desperately. "C-can't you see? The way I make your tea just the way you like? And try to make you food and I never play Celine Dion? P-please, Balthazar. Don't leave me."
The angel's ocean-blue eyes filled with tears of happiness as he cupped the man's face in his hands. "I'll n-never leave you. Ever." He gently pressed a kiss to Adam's lips, his heart bursting with joy.
"Good. Now get down here, perfect angel." Adam smiled as he pulled the willing Balthazar to the couch, both curling close into each other's arms.
