He placed his coat on the sofa before coming upstairs with me, he laid down on my bed first before getting me to lay beside him. I turned to face him, I placed my arm over his chest; my hand sliding through his jacket, his arm falling over my shoulder.
I murmered slightly at how warm I'd gotten in this position we were now in, that if I let go he'd vanish and I'd have that old cold bitter feeling stab its way through my body again.
"Where have you been all this time?" I asked him, as he sat up. I snuggled up to him, my head nuzzled into his neck; his arm round my waist.
He sighed, before gently kissing my head. "Here and there, doing work with the police. Your Dad helped me get back on my feet. He has a buisness so we're hoping to bring it Walford so we can stay around for a little while"
I slowly driffted off to sleep; When I woke up, he was gone.
I dragged myself out of bed, down the stairs and to the kitchen to get something to eat.
I wished I hadnt left her when she was sleeping, I wanted her to wake up beside me; but Jack insisted we left before they guessed where we were going.
I looked up to her window, Ronnie came and stood behind me, placing a supportive hand on my shoulder.
"Do you think she'll cope without me eh, Sniper?" I said, using her work nickname.
Ronnie sighed, as we turned to walk to Max's car; her hand holding onto my arm.
"She'll cope Dog, don't you worry. She has done this past year, so I dont see why not" She said.
I sighed."You should have seen the state she was in though, Sniper. She was a mess"
