Reiku was getting more than a little pissed at his boyfriend, Vanitas. No matter what he did, it seemed as if the black-haired teen would never listen to what he had to say. Reiku felt that he had enough.

One night, he suggested they go to a karaoke place that also served dinner. Vanitas reluctantly agreed, deciding there was no harm in it.

Little did he know that Reiku had a plan and a song in mind.

After dinner, Reiku went up on stage when the DJ asked who would like to go next.

Vanitas watched Reiku with a sort of blank expression as the music began and Reiku started to sing.

"Are you listening? Hear me talk, hear me sing. Open up the door, easy less, easy more. When you tell me to beware, are you here? Are you there? Is it something I should know? Easy come, easy go."

Reiku closed his eyes as he began to nod his head, already getting into the song.

"Nodding your head, don't hear a word I said. Can't communicate, when you wait, don't relate. I try to talk to you but you never even knew. So what's it gonna be, tell me, can you hear me?"

Reiku grabbed the microphone stand with one hand, then another, and finally grabbed the microphone, pulling it off its frame.

"I'm so sick of it, your attention deficit. Never listen, you never listen. I'm so sick of it, so I'll throw another fit. Never listen, you never listen."

Reiku wagged a finger as he walked toward the edge of the stage.

"I scream your name, it always stays the same. I scream and shout. So what I'm gonna do now is freak the freak out, hey."

The silver-haired teen abruptly jumped onto the table he and Vanitas sat at, startling the black-haired teen.

"Whoa oh oh, whoa oh oh, whoa oh oh, whoa oh oh oh."

Reiku leaped back onto the stage and Vanitas gave a mild glare, wondering when the silverette had become so brave in standing up to him.

"Patience running thin, running thin, come again. Tell me what I get opposite, opposite. Show me what is real; if it breaks does it heal? Open up your ear, why you think that I'm here? Keep me in the dark are you even thinking of me? Is someone else above me? Gotta know, gotta know."

Reiku backed up until he was back at his starting position before turning in a circle.

"What am I gonna do? 'Cause I can't get through to you. So what's it gonna be. Tell me, can you hear me?"

Reiku threw his hand in the air as the crowd began to cheer and dance along.

"I'm so sick of it, your attention deficit. Never listen, you never listen. I'm so sick of it so I'll throw another fit. Never listen, you never listen."

Reiku began to bounce on the tips of his feet, still holding his left hand in the air, the crowd following his movement.

"I scream your name, it always stays the same. I scream and shout. So what I'm gonna do now is freak the freak out, hey. Whoa oh oh, whoa oh oh, whoa oh oh, whoa oh oh oh."

Vanitas scowled at the silverette who watched him with a slight smirk, understanding that the black-haired teen was getting his message.

"Easy come, easy go. Easy come, easy go. I scream your name, it always stays the same. I scream and shout. So what I'm gonna do now is freak the freak out, hey. Whoa oh oh, whoa oh oh, whoa oh oh, whoa oh oh oh. I scream your name but you never listen. No, you never listen."

Reiku wagged a finger as the song ended, staring at Vanitas seriously.

Yeah, short. :3 But I am really addicted to this song and this pairing. :3 Anyway, hope you found it amusing.
