O Holy Night! The stars are brightly shining,

It is the night of the dear Saviour's birth.

Long lay the world in sin and error pining.

Till He appeared and the Spirit felt its worth.

A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices,

For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.

Fall on your knees! Oh, hear the angel voices!

O night divine, the night when Christ was born;

O night, O Holy Night , O night divine!

O night, O Holy Night , O night divine!

Yvaine looked up at the night sky, silently wishing that she could be up there once again. She never once regretted her decision to remain with Tristan and be queen of Stormhold. Most of the time, she was amazed by how beautiful and wonderful everything could be down on the earth. But every once in a while, she dreamed that she was back among her sisters in the sky.

"Longing for home?" Tristan asked, coming up behind her to put his arms around her.

"No, no need to long for a place you're already in," Yvaine replied.

Tristan smiled and kissed her sweetly. Yvaine had to admit, being all the earth had many amazing sensations she never thought possible, kissing being one of the best.

"You know, back in Wall, it would be Christmas," Tristan said.

"Oh, yes, I remember. You celebrate the birth of Jesus. That was an amazing night. I still remember meeting Angelique when she began shining that night."

Tristan looked at her, shocked that she was that old. He had always avoided asking about Yvaine's age, assuming that she had been around for quite a while, considering all he'd learned about stars. But he refused to believe that she was that old.

"Wow, that must have been incredible. So, you and I are probably the only people in Stormhold that know about Christmas. I haven't found a single person that seems to know anything when I talk about Christmas."

"We could tell them about Christmas. After all, we are the King and Queen."

Tristan considered it for a moment. "Or it could just be our private celebration. Have you ever seen mistletoe?"

Yvaine tried to think if she had, but came up blank. She shook her head.

"Don't worry, you'll love it."

Merry Christmas. Use your mistletoe!
