Disclaimer: I do not own Pani Poni Dash! which is rather unfortunate because I actually enjoy that show very much.

This is a short, random, boring... thing that I wrote after watching episode 15, or whichever episode was the one where class 1-C was in a bus dangling over a cliff. Starring the pushover twins, Shu and Kurumi! Yaaay. I really wish this show had more fanfiction...

Anyways, please enjoy!

"Hey, Kurumi, what took you so long?"

The 1-C student made a face at her brother's careless question. Shu was seated at a bench, arms splayed around its wooden back, smiling curiously as Kurumi approached him. "We were all waiting on you guys, you know," he added.

"Well, while you were sitting around on your lazy ass my classmates and I were dangling off a cliff," Kurumi scowled, waving her arms for emphasis. Sure, it turned out to be part of a stupid TV show but there's no need to tell him that.

"A cliff, huh?" Shu arched an eyebrow. "Glad to see you're alright, then."

Kurumi let out a huff. "Is that all you have to say? I could've died, you know!"

"No way, your existence is way too unknown for Death to take you."

"Just what is that supposed to mean?"

Shu lifted his shoulders in a shrug, smiling at his sister's usual overreaction at being called plain. "Forget it. You must be hungry after a near-death experience. I'll make you something tasty tonight, how's that sound?"

"It's going to take a lot more than that for me to forgive you," Kurumi muttered as she sat down next to the 1-A class rep. "You're acting like you don't even care."

"Don't be ridiculous, I always care about you," Shu leaned forward, grinning at his sister's pouting face. "How about I throw in a dessert, too? Does a cake sound nice?"

"… with strawberries?"

"And vanilla frosting."

"Fine…"

Shu patted her head cheerfully. "There, you see? That wasn't so hard. You're so forgiving, Kurumi."

"You're just too giving, Aniki."

He laughed sheepishly. "You think so?"

A brother who's too willing to please, and a sister who's barely even noticed. What a pair.

Look, the author's notes are almost as long as the story. I don't know why I wrote this, but I did and then I forgot about it and then I found it and liked it and now have posted it. So I hope you liked it too :3

Thanks for reading!
