The young man sat quietly in the drab classroom by the flickering fire as he waited for her, for the storm that approached. The blonde raised his eyes slightly as he heard the click of sharp footsteps on cold concrete echo down the long, grey corridor. He sharply exhaled as the large wooden door was pushed open, and a small, pixie face peered from around the heavy door.

A small girl entered, and stood awkwardly in front of the blonde, wringing her hands together, "Hey" her small, quiet voice said as she drifted awkwardly towards him.

He slipped of the table on which he had been sat, and took a step towards her, greeting her softly, "Hey."

The two stood in silent for a second, gazing intensely at each other, and neither daring to speak first. The grey eyed man exhaled, "I didn't mean for this to happen..." he began as the shorter girl crossed her arms over her chest and a scowl formed on her small face.

"Look, I know why I'm here okay? Spare me the sob story, I don't wanna hear it." She spat at him, turning her back to him.

He sighed, running his hands through his platinum blond hair and down onto his sharp angular face "Okay, I won't then. But you understand right? I mean… It wasn't always like this? I honestly did like you. You do know that, right?" Putting his hand on her shoulder to turn her to face him. He stared into her small dark eyes with his, looking for any sign of acceptance and understanding.

She exhaled deeply, twisting her head to look away once again "I know, I know. But seriously, when did it start?" she wailed, tears forming in her eyes.

"A while ago, about a month or two maybe? I'm not sure, I kind of lost track of time, it's just so … the blond blushed deeply, glancing down at his feet smiling. "I lose track of everything when I'm with him." The blonde looked up at the other girl, and smiled, hoping for support for his friend.

Instead, a look of disgust graced her face, "It's wrong, completely wrong, and I want NOTHING to do with it, or you." She asserted throwing her hands up in the air, spinning to look at the blond man in front of her, frowning.

His eyes dropped to the floor, wringing his hands together nervously, "Can... can I at least trust you not to tell anyone?"

"I… I guess not, but don't expect me to be all buddy-buddy with him just because you're together. And don't come crying to me when it doesn't work out. Okay?" she spat at him turning her back on him and walking quickly to the exit.

"That's all I ask." He called after her, smiling slightly.

He smirked as he herd her steps echo down the hallway once more. He knew she would accept them eventually, I mean come on, she was obviously still in love with him. And if he got her to agree, the rest would follow her view like a flock of sheep. He could control her and she would do anything he wanted.

It was just a matter of time.
