Alex looked at the list of units. There was only one thought in his mind.

'NO. FUCKING. WAY.'

Ale's face twitched. It was official. The Sergeant couldn't say his alphabet.

Many years ago

"When I gwow up, I wanna be a soldier!" 5-year old Sarge said, firing a pretend gun.

Flash-Forward

Sarge was imagining himself winning a war (which involved the characteristics of a normal 5-year old imagination, which is to say, lots of colors and lollipops.) and waving his weapon, which was a water gun in the air.

"... and this is K..."

He let out a victory screech.

"... now this is X, and this is Z."

Sarge imagined getting a big shiny golden medal.

There was applause everywhere, and his mother gave him chocolate.

Sarge smiled.

"Now David, what is the first letter of the alphabet?"

Sarge snapped out of it.

"Umm... K?"

His teacher sighed.

*cough* Don't ask. Was bored.
