Author's Note: This is for Starkreactor again, seeing as she's the one who got me hooked on Sherlock and seems to be my new muse for story ideas. I've also been reading several Sherlock fics lately that made great use of texting as a story medium. I wanted to give it a try, and it seemed to fit perfectly with the narrative I have in mind. Not all the chapters will be like this—the next one will be back to a regular story format. Text chapters may make a reappearance later as deemed thematically appropriate. Sorry if I've left things a bit murky with this first chapter. I wanted to spin things out gradually and this seemed a good place to break for the next chapter. Thanks for reading!
