Here's the next part of 'Akatsuki's Worst Nightmares'. You can forget leashes... I need cages. Dozens of them... MY MIND IS BEING RAPED BY PLOT BUNNIES! And worst... my muse is the one who let them in!

Sasori's Worst Nightmare

Sasori was having a great day. He had run into some Hunter Nin, but he had easily dispatched them – and added some new puppets to his collection while he was at it. He was now traveling through the desert, on his way to meet up with Deidara. They had received another mission – trail Orochimaru and find out what he was up to. If possible, get back the ring that Orochimaru had stolen. Sasori muttered to himself about idiotic snake-nins as he walked. He began to feel itchy.

'Wait... since when can I feel itchy?'

He looked down at his arm, his eyes widening in horror.

"Termites!" he screamed.

Pulling the Akatsuki robe off, he found his entire body swarming with termites. Shrieking, he started swatting the termites, running around in circles as he did so.

"Off, off, off, off, off! Get them off!"

He heard laughter off to his side. Looking over to where the laughter was coming from, he saw an Aburame, about 17 years old.

"You! You're responsible for these termites!"

The Aburame just continued laughing, falling on his ass as he did so. Sasori advanced on the boy.

The boy stopped laughing and looked at Sasori.

"Aren't you forgetting something? Those termites are still eating your body."

Sasori's eyes widened and he looked down at his body. His protective puppet was almost gone and the termites had already started on his actual body. He shrieked and started running around in circles again, which only made the Aburame start laughing again. In a matter of minutes, the termites had almost completely devoured Sasori. All that was left was his head, which was glaring at the Aburame.

"You little brat! I swear, I will haunt you for the rest of your life!"

The boy just laughed as the termites devoured Sasori's head.

Sasori jerked awake, sitting up and nearly banging his head on the bunk bed.

"Damn it!"

Deidara poked his head over the bunk bed, looking down at Sasori.

"Did you have that nightmare about the termites again, uh?"

Sasori just glared at Deidara. Deidara rolled his eyes and lay back on his bed.

"How a piece of wood can have nightmares, I'll never understand... uh"

"Shut up you walking bomb! At least I'm not afraid of girls in dresses!"

Deidara popped his head back over the side of the bed.

"I dare you to say that to my face, uh!"

Sasori smirked.

"At least I'm not afraid of girls in dresses!"

Deidara screamed and launched himself at Sasori. Outside, their room, the rest of the Akatsuki looked at each other and shook their heads.

"They're at it again..."
