Flowers.

"Potter! What are these?" Draco snapped thrusting the bouquet of flowers into Harry's hands as he made his way into the kitchen, a bewildered look crossing green eyes when Draco shifted to lay his hands at his hips sternly.

"Uh, flowers?" Harry stated glancing down at the lightly coloured array of petals.

"Why do you have flowers?" Draco growled through clenched teeth when Harry shrugged.

"Someone sent them to me this morning, there are some more in the front room."

"More?"

"Yeah, they came this morning, along with some chocolates, a few cards you know the usual stuff." Harry smiled waving his hand dismissively as he made to awkwardly move around the seething blond.

"Who is sending you flowers and chocolates?"

"I don't know, that's the point though!" Harry laughed. "Why are you so bothered anyway?"

"Why are you not bothered?" Draco asked. "How would you feel if someone sent me flowers?"

Harry shrugged, "I wouldn't mind, they brighten the place up."

"Are you having an affair?"

"Of course I'm not." Harry spluttered. "How can you even accuse me of that?"

"Then why on earth is someone sending you presents?" Draco growled.

"Because it's Valentine's day!" Harry defended.

"No it's not!" Draco whispered noncommittally.

"Draco trust me, it's Valentine's Day." Harry laughed. "I know that people love me but I don't usually get this many declarations in one day."

"Shit! Why didn't you remind me?" Draco hissed. "I—I haven't got you anything."

"It doesn't matter." Harry whispered curling his arms at Draco waist when the blond groaned. "I didn't get you anything, either." He added. "I just naturally assumed that we weren't going to bother this year."

"Still." Draco frowned. "You could at least take me out for dinner."

"A minute ago I was a cheating scumbag." Harry laughed brushing the tip of his nose against Draco's lovingly, Draco rolled his eye. "And if I'm taking you out for dinner what am I going to get?"

"You'll have to see when we get home." Draco whispered with a wink when Harry shook his head fondly.

"It's a good job I've already made reservations then isn't it?"

Happy Valentine's day!
