"Iruka adventures! Tra-la-la-la-la-la! Iruka adventures! Oh yeah!"
"Shut up Iruka," The Third Hokage muttered from behind his Hokage desk "I have a lot of paperwork to do," He looked down and continued to scribble something on paper.
After a minute or two, the Hokage looked up again to see Iruka still standing there.
"Mister Hokage?" Iruka said.
The Hokage sighed, "Yes?"
"Can I be of some importance?"
The Hokage frowned and dropped the pencil from his hand, "What do you mean?"
"Well, I never get to do anything of real importance," He explained, "The most I've ever done was take a giant star in the back for the foxy kid,"
The Hokage raised an eyebrow, "Foxy kid?"
"Well can I?"
"Be of some importance?"
The Hokage sighed and looked down at his papers again, "No, no I don't think so,"
Iruka frowned and scratched the back of his head, "What? Like I can never do anything to help anybody?"
The Hokage looked up and nodded, "That's right,"
"Well maybe I'll become a missing-nin!" Iruka huffed.
"Nobody would care," The Hokage sniffed and scribbled something down again.
The was a awkward silence for a minute or two.
The Hokage looked up again to see tears welling up in Iruka's eyes "Look... check back with me in two weeks... I may have something for you then..."
Iruka grinned "Will do Hokage!"
Two Weeks Later...
The Third Hokage was killed by Orochimaru.
To be continued... possibly...
