Hello everyone! Anyways, I need to say thank celtbhoy, again :D
Anyways, I have two chapters for this one, this is my original, but I have another one because I have two different chapters, this is the shorter one, and I have a longer one that I've been working on recently yesterday (because I wasn't expecting to find this chapter….)
Walking out felt weird. Like I was closing a door on my life with Hermione. I would need to get some stuff together and move into an apartment of my own. It would feel lonely, granted, but I could always do some party hopping with Harry and Oliver. So I wasn't too worried.
I decided to once again stop by at George and Ron's store. I wasn't ready to face mum or dad yet. Not the questions, anything really.
"Hey guys." I said, smiling at Ron and George behind the counter. Ron had surprised all of us when he started working at the store. Everyone thought he would go into whatever Harry was doing. For a while we both thought Ron was running away from Harry's shadow, something he complained about. But it wasn't that, Ron was running away from Harry's sexuality. He had acted like anyone who wasn't remotely straight would turn him gay.
"Hello, Gin." George said, smiling at me. Ron just nodded my way before acting like there was something that needed attention otherwise. "So, Gin… How was Harry in bed, eh?- I've heard he's a real lady killer." George said loudly, luckily I didn't see anyone shopping around, but at that Ron turned around and looked at me with big eyes.
"Ginny! Bloody Hell! What have you and Harry done last night?" Ron asked, surprised.
"George! – Nothing, we just slept together, that's all. And we were partially dressed the whole night." I said, turning red. "Besides, last I heard, he was hoping on getting lucky with Wood."
"Really?- Harry better watch it. What if ol' Oliver gives him a sexual harassment thing?" Ron asked, clearly he hadn't seen how Oliver was all over Harry last night.
"You seriously didn't see it? –I'm pretty sure Oliver was mentally undressing him. But I don't blame him." I said, smiling at Ron. "I'm pretty sure you wanted to do more than 'mentally' undress Hermione." I couldn't help but say that out of spite.
"You know me well, Ginny. Probably wouldn't stop at undressing her anyways." Ron said, blushing.
"So, you claim guilty for cheating as much as she did?" I asked, before realizing I had gotten myself into a touchy subject. Not for anyone else, but for me.
"Yes. 100%. What I did wasn't cool, but I have to ask… Is Hermione still free?- Rebound and all that." Ron said, I snickered and nodded. Why was talking to my brother, so much more easier than talking to Hermione?- How could I joke when that hurt so much… But the joking made it easier anyways.
"So, Gin. I was thinking that if you do some cooking, you could stay with me. You know how much mum will baby you. Do you really want that?" George offered, I knew it was for the sake of not having to make his own food as much as it was a way to make me feel better.
"You got a deal, George." I said, smiling. As much as I hate cooking, it was better than the intrusive, living-under-my-roof-tell-me-what's-going-on rule.
"Great then. You move in tonight. How does pasta sound?" George asked, giving me the key.
"Sounds good. I'll go unpack." I said, smiling at him.
George's was beginning to feel more like home once I unpacked. The best thing about the last few days was that at least I was on break at the moment. Going to my job and moving wouldn't have been the easiest thing in the world. Ministry work was long and boring.
"So, Harry, how was it?" I ask, Both Harry and Ron where visiting for dinner.
"It was pretty good, nothing yet… George, you were right, I can't get lucky at 8:30 in the morning…" Harry said, laughing.
"Can we please talk about something less… Gay?" Ron asked, clearly annoyed at our conversation of choice.
"Okay then, Ron… When's your next snogging session with Hermione?" I asked, looking at him right in the eye. What's his problem, anyways?
"Actually, Ginny, it's tomorrow. Over a nice dinner." Ron said, grinning at me.
"Hey Ron, do you want my leftover dinner too?" I asked, grinning back at him.
"No thank you, Cooties, you know." Ron said, chuckling.
"So does Hermione…" I said, laughing.
"But at least she can wash herself. Your left over's can't." Ron said, shaking his head.
"True." I said, finding that all the joking made it easier to bare.
Anyways, basically this chapter is about well, joking, and I have another chapter, which I will hopefully put up, and it will say "dah-dah-dah-dah (alternate chapter _)- Okay? (Yes. I've totally forgotten what chapter this is. I just got home from school, so it's alright.)
