He couldn't take anymore, he couldn't take being invisible to the one he cared for the most. No more being ignored by him. His ignorance was slowly killing him; he really didn't know what to do to get his acknowledge him. Which was why this was his last and final choice.
He walked up to Tsunade's office to request an extended mission, one that would take him far away from the village, and to make sure that he wasn't followed, he was going to ask that Tsunade not tell anyone that he was leaving or where he was going, he didn't want him to know anything about him.
"Where do you want to go Naruto?" Tsunade asked when he finished explaining why he wanted to leave. Her heart went out it him, but sometimes she wished that Naruto would look at it from his side, not that she was condoning him for ignoring his comrade. Still, she knew that it was hard for the Jounin to get use to anyone since all those he was close to left him.
"I was thinking the whirlpool country, ever since I found out who my mom was…I always wanted to go and see where she grew up at," He looked at the old blonde hair woman pleadingly to let him go.
He heard her sigh, but she nodded. She signed the papers that needed to be signed and gave him the scroll that he needed to get out of the village and to the Whirlpool country. He took it with a small smile and walked out.
"I'll write every day, arigatou Baa-Chan," He said as he walked out of her office. Tsunade called in an Anbu, and made him get Hatake Kakashi.
Naruto walked passed Kotetsu and Genma and gave one of them the scroll before leaving the village for a long time.
Kakashi noticed that it's been quiet lately, he felt like there was a change in atmosphere, but he couldn't place a finger on it. He shrugged it off like there was nothing wrong. He closed his eyes until ANBU appeared and ordered him to go to the Hokage's office.
"What?" He asked when he appeared.
"You need to find another Shinobi for your team…"
"Why? I thought me, Sakura and Naruto was a good team," he sat on the chair; put his leg on his other knee. He felt something scratching on the back of his mind, but he couldn't figure it out.
"Naruto went on a solo mission…"
"What? Where?" He sat up abruptly.
"I can't tell you…"
"WHAT!" Kakashi sat up quickly.
"Look, the only reason I am telling you is because he's a member of your team, that's it," She had an edge to her voice, and Kakashi almost flinched at it.
'What did I do?'
